An evidentiary management process for digital data associated with a localized Miranda-type process includes first detecting an electronic Miranda-type process trigger event, capturing audio/video of a suspect and storing a unique identifier of the suspect, selecting a particular stored Miranda-type warning variation, and then playing back the selected warning variation and storing an indication thereof. Then the unique identifier of the suspect and the stored indication of the warning variation are aggregated into a single data structure. An electronic anti-tamper process is then applied to the single data structure to generate an anti-tamper indicator, and the single data structure and anti-tamper indicator are stored or transmitted to a remote device.

System, device, and method for evidentiary management of digital data associated with a localized Miranda-type process

A push-to-talk headset can include one or more user-actuatable switches, user-actuatable adjustment devices or the like that are electrically coupled to a pulse generator circuit. Responsive to detected state transitions of the one or more user-actuatable switches, user-actuatable adjustment devices or the like, a number of signals comprising a number of pulses may be communicated to a portable electronic device communicably coupled to the push-to-talk headset. At least a first of these signals having a first number of pulses may be used to place the portable electronic device in a push-to-talk mode. At least a second of these signals having a second number of pulses may be used by the operating system to remove the portable electronic device from the push-to-talk mode.

Pulsed input push-to-talk systems, methods and apparatus

An adaptor that includes a male connector, a control circuit, and a wireless transceiver coupleable to a corresponding female connector on a portable electronic device provides push-to-talk functionality on the portable electronic device. In conjunction with the device operating system, the adaptor converts a first incoming signal to a first number of low impedance/high impedance pulses detectable by the portable electronic device to initiate a push-to-talk session. During the push-to-talk session, the adaptor transceiver wirelessly transmits and receives communication signals (e.g., audio signals) to and from an accessory device communicably coupled to the adapter. In conjunction with the device operating system, the adaptor converts a second incoming signal to a second number of low impedance/high impedance pulses detectable by the portable electronic device to terminate the push-to-talk session.

Pulsed input push-to-talk wireless adapter systems and methods

A computer network has storage devices organized into X levels and storing element-group information. To determine whether an element is a member of any target groups, each target group is validated by searching the storage devices to find a target group item and, if found, placing the target group in a validated target bin (V). Also, the element is validated by searching the storage devices to find an element item, and if found, determining from the item all groups that the element is listed as being a member of and placing such member-of groups in a search bin (S). If (S) intersects (V), the element is a member of a target group. If not, all groups in (S) are moved to a queue (Q) corresponding to the storage device at leveland an iterative process searches for a membership path from the element to any target group.
