A cargo carrier platform for mounting to a vehicle hitch allowing cargo to be transported outside the vehicle. The cargo carrier includes a drawbar adapted to be received within the vehicle hitch and a cargo platform adjustably attached to the drawbar to facilitate fore and aft adjustment of the platform relative to the rear of the vehicle. The drawbar is provided with a vertical offset to position the platform further from the ground. Markers are mounted on the outer rear corners of the platform to provide the user with a continuous visual indication of the extent of the cargo carrier.

Hitch mounted cargo carrier

A mounting box 30 for mounting an electrical connector 40 laterally to a cross tube 32 of a trailer hitch 34. Walls 42, 44, 46, 48 and 50 enclose the body. An opening 52 of the box 30 is closed by two walls 39 and 37 of the cross tube. The electrical cable extends through a first end wall 44 through a cut out 69. The cable is connected to a connector 40 that is mounted through an opening 68 in the end wall 42. The sections 282 and 284 in proximity to the v-shaped notches 54 and 56 adjacent the open side 52 are trimmable to change the shape of the notches into semi-circular notches 154 and 156.

Adjustable enclosure and mounting box for a trailer hitch electrical

A bike rack cargo carrier for mounting to a vehicle hitch allowing bicycles to be transported outside the vehicle. The bike carrier includes a drawbar adapted to be received within the vehicle hitch and a cargo platform adjustably attached to the drawbar to facilitate fore and aft adjustment of the platform relative to the rear of the vehicle. The drawbar is provided with a vertical offset to position the platform further from the ground. A support stanchion is removably secured to the carrier platform to transport a plurality of bicycles in a vertical position. The stanchion is adjustably mounted to the platform to accommodate different numbers of bikes.

Mounting box for a trailer hitch electrical connector

A mounting box formed of polymeric material for mounting an electrical connector laterally to the cross tube of a trailer hitch with walls enclosing the body of the electrical connector receivable through a mounting wall opening with another opening receiving the cable of wires connected to the electrical connector. A pair of spaced apart slots formed in the mounting box through which an adjustable band clamp is received for encompassing the cross tube of the trailer hitch for rigidly securing the mounting box to the cross tube. Fastening holes are arranged about the first wall opening in a pattern that corresponds to different electrical connectors and different mounting positions of the electrical connector. A flap in the mounting wall permits the cable of a prewired electrical connector to be received within the mounting box.
