Systems and methods for defining a composite view and using the definition of the composite view to obtain, aggregate, analyze, and present data from a variety of data sources to a user. These systems and methods may allow for the definition of a visual framework to aggregate and display related data. This visual framework, or composite view, may in turn be composed of a master view and a set of subviews, each of which may display data collected from a particular data source according to a particular format. By interacting with the master view data from a variety of data sources can be displayed.

The sharing of objects may be executed by performing various share type administrations. Objects may be shared directly to a site or may be made available indirectly for reuse by a site. The objects shared and made available for reuse may be added to the site to which they are shared and made available for reuse. References to the objects shared and made available for reuse are stored in repositories in response to, and in accordance with, the share type administration performed. The storage of the references to objects is based on privileges associated with at least one of a repository, a site and a user. Objects made available for reuse by, and shared to, a site may be made unavailable for reuse by, and unshared to, the site through the execution of a share type administration.

Method and system for sharing different web components between different web sites in a portal framework

A method for producing a two-dimensional (2D) animated character sequence is provided. The method includes producing a set of 2D drawings that represent one or more views of the body parts of the character being represented, analyzing an animated sequence of a three-dimensional (3D) armature in order to determine the motion of an animated character in 3D space over time, using a selection operation to determine which particular view of each body part to use to best represent that body part at any particular moment in time in the animated sequence, performing a projection operation for each bone of the armature in order to determine where, on a 2D plane, the selected drawing should be placed in a 2D animation frame, and assembling the selected body part drawings in order to produce the frames of a 2D animated character.

Method and system to provide composite view of components

A portal server presents an HTML page that comprises a plurality of modules that are formatted in a predetermined layout. Each module represents a network resource that can be accessed by a user through the portal. Some of the modules can be user-selectable, whereas others may be mandatory elements of the portal. Similarly, some aspects of the layout may be user-controllable, while others are fixed. The modular nature of the portal enables the various resources to be readily and independently updated by the entities who provide them, without affecting other features of the portal. The portal server includes an administration interface that enables an administrator to select from various layout styles, as well as control access to site information and services. A variety of customizations can be done to the portal without requiring programming skills. As a result, individual businesses and other entities can exercise complete ownership of their portals, from a hosting, branding and design perspective.

A nail clipping and collecting device for use with a conventional nail clipper is designed to be easily grasped and manipulated, particularly by persons with reduced or impaired manual dexterity. A conventional nail clipper is removably positioned within a base and within a handle of the device which are removably hingedly connected together, and the base is configured for receiving, storing and emptying nail clippings. The handle is configured for removably storing a nail file, and a magnifying lens is adjustably connected to the handle for positioning to magnify a nail to be cut.
