An annular arrangement of raised mounting pads provides a pattern of mounting pads proximate a circle of a given diameter to substantially replicate the mounting pad pattern of the to-be-replaced wheel disc or objects Mounting pads may be provided on an annular member having an inner diameter less than the given diameter of a circle at which the mounting pad pattern of the to-be-replaced wheel disc or object is located and having an outer diameter greater than the given diameter. Mounting pads may be provided by inserts.
