There is provided a system, method and computer program product for integrating at least one analytical or modeling driver into an existing business analytic environment. The system comprises a BAMS (Business Analytics and Mathematical Sciences) driver, implemented on the memory device and run by the processor, loads a real database driver and redirects a request from a client application to the real database driver. An extension driver, invoked by the BAMS driver, provides an interface to a data modeling or processing software and converts the interface from a software environment compiled by a programming language to another software environment targeted to another programming language. The extension driver extends or overrides functionalities of the BAMS driver. Implementing the BAMS driver and the extension driver in the existing business analytic environment do not require any change made on the existing business analytic environment.

Enabling computational process as a dynamic data source for bi reporting systems

A method (and system) for causal modeling includes modeling a data set. The modeling includes estimating a reverse Bayesian forest for the data set and detecting outliers in a separate data set. Detecting the outliers includes applying the reverse Bayesian forest to the separate data set to obtain a probability value assigned to data points in the separate data set and identifying outliers in the separate data set by evaluating the probability value given by the reverse Bayesian forest.

Method and system for debt collection optimization

A system and method for detecting trends in time-managed lifetime data for products shipped in distinct vintages within a time window. Data is consolidated from several sources and represented in a form amenable to detection of trends using a criterion for measuring failure. A weight is applied to the failure measures, the weight increasing over the time the products are in the time window. A function of weighted failures is used to define a severity index for proximity to an unacceptable level of failures, and an alarm signal is triggered at a threshold level that allows the level of false alarms to be pre-set.

System and method for early detection of system component failure

An optimal set of devices is allocated to a package of device requests. In one embodiment, for each device request within the package of requests, a determination is made as to one or more eligible devices capable of satisfying each of the device requests and for each eligible device, a preference value is obtained. The preference values are then used to assign devices to a package of device requests such that the sum of the preference values of the assigned devices satisfies a specific optimizing function. The assigned devices provide global optimization of device allocation for a package of requests, thereby improving system throughput and performance.
