A disk launcher system for effectively launching a disk. The disk launcher system generally includes a platform having an upper surface, a biasing member attached to the platform adapted to apply a biasing force to a disk positioned on the platform to launch the disk from the platform, a catch member movably positioned with respect to the platform adapted to selectively engage the disk, and a timing post extending upwardly from the upper surface of the platform that forces the disk to move to a side of the timing post after being released by the catch member resulting in rotation of the disk. A trigger may be connected to the catch member to allow for selective movement of the catch member by a user. A cover may also selectively cover a portion of the platform to help protect the user and guide the disk.

Disk launcher system

The wobbling game system generally includes an apparatus for determining an outcome of a game, comprising a base including a curved portion and a flat portion, wherein the flat portion is positioned at a lowermost end of the base and wherein the curved portion extends from the flat portion. At least one ballast is positioned proximate the base or adding weight to the base and an adjustable counterbalance mechanism extends from the base for stabilizing the base on the flat portion. A storage control system includes an apparatus and method for user control of a storage interface to operate a storage medium to store data obtained by a real-time data acquisition system. Digital data received in serial format from the data acquisition system is first converted to a parallel format and then provided to the storage interface. The operation of the storage interface is controlled in accordance with instructions based on user control input from a user. Also, a user status output is displayed in accordance with storage data obtained from the storage interface. By allowing the user to control and monitor the operation of the storage interface, a stand-alone, user-controllable data storage system is provided for storing the digital data obtained by a real-time data acquisition system.

A temperature responsive sensor is located in the airflow over the specified surface of a body and is maintained at a constant temperature. An active thermal isolator is located between this temperature responsive sensor and the specified surface of the body. The temperature of this isolator is controlled to reduce conductive heat flow from the temperature responsive sensor to the body. This temperature control includes (1) operating the isolator at the same temperature as the constant temperature of the sensor and (2) establishing a fixed boundary temperature which is either (a) less than or equal to or (b) slightly greater than the sensor constant temperature.

A fishing rod holder comprises a tubular body, an upper bracket assembly, and a lower bracket assembly. The upper bracket assembly comprises first and second upper bracket arms carrying hooking elements of a sufficiently small thickness to readily pass between the window of a vehicle door and the outer portions of the vehicle door. The lower bracket assembly comprises first and second lower bracket legs carrying feet for confronting the outer surface of the vehicle door. The hooking elements are capable of being wrapped at least partially around a horizontal railing portion, and the lower bracket members together define a U-shaped configuration capable of straddling a vertical railing portion. The holder includes a sand spike flexibly connected to a point proximate the normally lower end of the tubular body. When the sand spike is driven into the ground, the upper bracket arms extend generally downwardly to the ground and thus define with the lower end of the body a three-point support for the fishing rod.

Universal fishing rod support

An angular position transducer utilizing photocells and a light source is disclosed. The device uses a fully rotatable baffle which is connected via an actuator shaft to the body whose rotational displacement is to be measured. The baffle blocks the light path between the light source and the photocells so that a constant semicircular beam of light reaches the photocells. When the assembly is in the null position the illuminated area of each of the photocells is equal. As the actuator shaft rotates, the baffle also rotates which causes an increase in the area of illumination of one of the photocells together with an equal decrease in the area of illumination of the other photocell. The current produced by the photocells is fed through a resistor, a differential amplifier measures the voltage drop across the resistor which indicates the angular position of the actuator shaft and hence of the object.
