Some examples include an additive manufacturing build object including an electrical component and a build object body. The electrical component having a varying electrical resistivity within a resistivity range of 109 ohms per square to 105 ohms per square, the resistivity range obtained by an application and fusing of a fusing component of a printing agent and build material, the printing agent applied to the build material at a predetermined saturation dosage range corresponding to the resistivity range. The build object body having a second electrical resistivity obtained by an application and fusing of the fusing component of the printing agent and the build material, the printing agent applied at a dosage below the predetermined saturation dosage range, the build object body being electrically non-conductive.

Additive manufactured resistivity

Some examples include an additive manufacturing method for controlling electrostatic discharge of a build object. The method includes receiving data related to a build object, the data including conductivity data, selectively depositing a first portion of a printing agent onto a build material layer in a pattern of an object layer of a build object, the printing agent being electrically conductive at a predetermined dosage, the first portion deposited at less than the predetermined dosage, selectively depositing a second portion of the printing agent onto the build material layer at an area of the pattern, the printing agent at the area deposited at or above the predetermined dosage, and applying fusing energy to form the object layer, the object layer of the build object including a shell formed at the area and a core, the shell being electrically conductive and the core being electrically non-conductive.

Additive manufacturing object conductivity

A light filter includes exactly one partially reflective layer having a top and a bottom and a wedge-shaped profile defining a wedge direction. First and second transparent layers are disposed on the top and bottom, respectively, of the partially reflective layer, each transparent layer including at least two dielectric layers of two different materials, each dielectric layer having a wedge-shaped profile oriented in the wedge direction. A photospectrometer including a light filter with the wedge-shaped profile is also disclosed.

An image display device includes an image processing unit, a light source assembly, an optical modulator assembly, and a projection lens assembly. The image processing unit is configured to receive a video signal and generate image data and control signals. The light source assembly and optical modulator assembly are each controlled by the control signals such that the light source assembly generates illumination in a spatial distribution pattern that is coupled to optical modular assembly via a homogenizing device. The projection lens assembly is configured to project an image from the optical modulator assembly onto a viewing surface. The optical modular assembly is configured to maximize the amount of illumination coupled from the light source assembly, and includes at least one optical modulator surface configured to have a substantially 1:1 aspect ratio.

Image display system and method

One embodiment of an image rotator includes an image reversion structure that rotates an image by a predetermined number of degrees, and securement structure adapted to removably secure the image reversion structure on a projector.

Systems and methods for image enhancement are disclosed. The system includes a light source adapted to generate a light beam and a light integration unit positioned along a light path of the light beam. A light intensity modulator is positioned between the light source and an exit of the light integration unit.

System and method of image enhancement through light intensity modulation in digital projectors

In one embodiment of the invention, a structure for preventing ink shorting of conductors connected to a printhead is provided. The structure includes a layer of insulating material shaped to at least partially encapsulate the conductors on the printhead. The insulating material includes a first surface and a second surface, with each of the surfaces having an adhesive coated thereon. The adhesive includes a polymer of ethylene and glycidyl methacrylate. The adhesive may also further include an acrylic ester. Alternatively, a first adhesive may be coated onto a first surface of the insulating material or coverlayer and a second adhesive (distinct in composition from the first adhesive) may be coated onto a second surface of the insulating material or coverlayer. In another embodiment of the invention, a print cartridge for an inkjet printer, including the structure for preventing ink shorting of conductors connected to the printhead is provided.

Coverlayer based on functional polymers

A disposable/refillable inkjet cartridge with bubble generator and an adhesively attached bubble generator vent cover. The cartridge is filed through a bubble generator opening in the cartridge bottom eliminating a separate filling orifice and easing the priming operation. The vent cover is adhesively attached making removal for refilling easier and avoiding suspected problems related to welding flash in welded vent covers. The bubble generator includes a tapered opening which receives a ball. The ball contacts ribs extending longitudinally along a tapered portion of the opening. The ribs are spaced over an arc of the opening. A bubble forms as needed between the ball and opening to maintain back pressure. The ribs and taper produce more consistent bubble pressures. A single piece of tape over the bubble generator and printhead nozzles avoids common causes for depriming.
