A plurality of variously sized modules can be interconnected using various length of walkways to provide a unit. Each module includes two end walls and two side walls secured to a rectangular base. Legs elevate the modules and walkways above ground level. A bottom in each module is secured ½ way up the sides of the module walls and have drainage holes. A step and hand rail afford access to the raised garden bed through a latched door.

A retractable grip element for a cell phone is provided with new features to enhance its functionality. A nest can be secured to or made one with the phone case. The nest affords attachment feature for the retractable grip element and recesses for fingers to extend the retractable grip element. The retractable grip element is provided with a post that, when attached to the grip shield, can function with a push button release to automatically extend the retractable grip element. When attached to the base of the retractable grip element, the laterally moving slide provides a release that permits the retractable grip element to be replaced.

Retractable grip element for cell phones

A grip shield is provided for a cell phone accessory to enhance its functionality. The grip shield is secured to a rim of an extendible accordion accessory to provide a backstop for the user's hand, a downwardly extending flange for reducing catching on pockets and pocketbook items, as well as enhancing the aesthetics of the device.

A strap is provided which may be attached to a rear portion of the casing of a cell phone obviating the need for a user to wrap her/his hand around the phone. A plurality of embodiments depict different quick-change ways of attaching the strap to the casing or directly to the back of a cell phone. A quick-removal holster is also described, as is a belt clip which engages the strap without the need to grasp the phone casing. The case is provided with a compartment for 2-3 credit card-sized items. A retractable kick stand forms a hood over the compartment providing physical and visual protection to the contents of the compartment and a pusher is provided to facilitate removal of the items.

Cell phone accessories

A locator/fastener has a first outer member with a precision-machined external body portion, a retention head protruding from a first end, and a multi-diameter throughbore. A fastener, which may take the form of a cap screw, floats in the throughbore of the locator with the threaded portion protruding from a second end of the locator. A receiver has an internal precision-machined surface which contacts the precision-machined body portion of the locator and a threaded bore which receives the protruding fastener. By separating the locating and fastening functions, a quick connect disconnect device is created which does not bind or gall. A hangar system allows a sub-base plate to be attached to a base using the locator-fastener disclosed herein.

Precision positioning and fastening system

A hand tool is provided with a mechanism which permits the handle of a hand tool to be adjusted through a wide array of angles relative to the implement to which it is attached to accommodate different sized users and uses of the tool. Further, a quick connect apparatus permits any of a plurality of hand tools to be connected to a single handle.

A work-holding chassis is constructed of at least one lower manifold/bracket and at least one upper manifold/bracket with fixture plates attached thereto. An optional center manifold/bracket can be included for additional strength. This chassis is light-weight since the center is essentially hollow. In addition, the modular construction allows the components to be reconfigured and reused for sequential applications. The manifold/brackets have any of a number of differing geometric shapes to which the fixture plates may be attached. The manifold/brackets and fixture plates may be customized to have internal plumbing to afford fluid pressure to activate hydraulic clamps, components, etc.

Light-weight, modular work-holding chassis

The actuator for the exercise machine is mounted to the seat to pivot about a vertically extending axis to permit the user to rotate her/his upper torso and vary the muscle groups being exercised to enhance the beneficial effects. A rotational connection between a shoulder harness element and the actuator arm facilitates this side crunching motion. A second feature which may be used separately or in conjunction with the rotational actuator, is an actuator arm with both a shoulder socket and an elbow joint that pivot, the elbow joint requires additional force to break over. This dual-pivot actuator arm permits the user to perform abdominal crunches with a predetermined resistance.

Abdominal exercise machine

The invention relates to a workpiece support assembly including an indexing unit adapted for the automated adjustment of a workpiece being machined. The assembly includes a central support column having at least one indexing unit secured thereto. The indexing unit includes a base member integrated with the central support column, a main body to which a workpiece may be selectively secured and a locking assembly permitting the selective locking and rotation of the main body relative to the base member. The main body is mounted on the base member for selective rotation required to rotate a workpiece as mounted.

Machine spindle actuating indexing unit

The housing of a two station machining device has thereon a stationary jaw and two movable jaws reciprocable between open and closed positions relative to the stationary jaw by a pair of spaced slides that are reciprocable in a recess in the housing beneath the work surface. A piston in the recess has one end thereof secured to one of the slides and has its other end slidable sealingly in an axial bore and counterbore in the other slide. Normally the slides and the piston are retained resiliently in first limit positions in which the movable jaws are disposed in their open positions. Hydraulic fluid under pressure is supplied to the bore in the other slide beneath the head of the piston initially to move the piston and the one slide into second limit positions in which the jaw connected to the one slide is moved to its closed position, and then to move the other slide to a second limit position and its associated jaw to be moved to its closed position. When the hydraulic fluid is allowed to return to its source, the slides and piston return to their first limit positions.

Double station hydraulically operated machining vise

A machining vise which includes a main body having a recess for guiding movable vise jaws therein is disclosed. The vise also includes a stationary jaw removably mounted at a mid-point on the main body, a first movable slide and a second movable slide. The first and second slides are mounted in the recess for guiding the movable vise jaws, wherein the first jaw is removably mounted to the first movable slide and the second jaw is removably mounted to the second movable slide.

Maching vise

A machining vise is disclosed. The machining vise includes a main body having a recess, a stationary vise jaw removably mounted at a mid-point on the main body, a first movable slide and a second movable slide mounted in the recess. A first vise jaw is mounted to the first movable slide and a second vise jaw is mounted to the second movable slide. The vise also includes a drive for moving the first and second movable slides, wherein a controlled release assembly associated with the first movable slide controls the movement of the first movable slide and the second movable slide. The controlled release assembly includes an offset adjustment mechanism and a spring biasing mechanism. The vise further includes a structure for releasably securing the vise jaws to the slides.
