A computing device may include camera modules and a camera enclosure configured to house the camera modules. The computing device may further include alignment wedges that each define a sloped surface configured to mechanically contact at least one of the camera enclosure or the camera modules. The alignment wedges may be configured to reposition the respective camera module of the plurality of camera modules with respect to the camera enclosure.

The present disclosure describes one or more aspects of a space-saving, serviceable modular battery assembly that may be used as part of a user equipment. The space-saving, serviceable modular battery assembly includes a battery cell electrically coupled to a first module assembly that monitors a state of the battery cell, a first alignment bracket located at a first end of the battery cell, and a second alignment bracket located at a second end of the battery cell. The first module assembly overlaps a second module assembly that supports system-level functions of the user equipment.

In some embodiments, the electronic device includes a display device, a housing including an outer cover, and a camera module including an image sensor, a camera module circuit board, and an optical element. An electronic device including a display panel is provided. In some embodiments, the display panel includes an active display region and an electrical component. The electrical component is distinct from a touch sensor device that is adapted to receive touch input across the active display region of the display panel. An electrical conductor connects the electrical component to another component of the electronic device via the display panel, such as via a bent portion of the display panel.

A display assembly includes an electronic display that comprises a collection of substrate layers and that has a first outline. The display assembly also includes a cover lens that: (i) is affixed to the electronic display, (ii) has a second outline that is larger than the first outline, and (iii) forms a stepped area at an overlap between the first and second outlines. The display assembly further includes a frame that: (a) supports a portion of the electronic display on at least two opposing sides of the electronic display, (b) attaches to the cover lens such that a substantial portion of the stepped area is covered by a portion of the frame, and (c) connects to a housing of an electronic device such that the display assembly is supported by the housing of the electronic device via the frame being connected to the housing of the electronic device.

A sensor system includes a housing having a front surface and a rear surface. The housing defines a bore that extends from the front surface toward the rear surface and that includes one or more lenses. The housing includes an image sensor adjacent at least a first lens and that is aligned with the bore. The system includes a proximity-sensing device mounted on the front surface of the housing. The system further includes a conductor element shared by the proximity-sensing device and the image sensor. The conductor element provides an electrical connection between (i) at least one circuit board of an electronic device and (ii) the proximity-sensing device and the image sensor.

An electronic device includes: a display assembly including an electronic display configured to generate an optical image viewable from in front of the electronic device; a proximity sensor coupled to at least a portion of the display assembly, the proximity sensor including a sensing element configured to be responsive to presence of an object in front of the electronic device, the sensing element supported by a support structure having an upper surface facing a frontal direction of the electronic device; and a conductor that electrically connects the sensing element of the proximity sensor and the portion of the display assembly, the conductor including a conductive path extending along the support structure to the upper surface of the support structure.

Apparatus, such as can be included in an electronic device, performs a method for operating apparatus configured for combined vibratory and projection functions. The apparatus includes a mirror configured to reflect a projected image and a motor. The mirror is coupled as a counterweight to the motor to configure the apparatus for a vibratory function. The motor is further configured to translate and rotate the mirror about a first axis to align the mirror with a projector to reflect the projected image during a projection function.

The head includes a rounded axial protrusion having a first radial diameter, and a noncircular radial portion for securing the fastener. The noncircular radial portion has a second radial diameter greater than the first radial diameter. The noncircular radial portion is positioned between the threaded body and the rounded axial protrusion.

System, apparatus, and method for securing structures

An electronic device is provided. In some embodiments, the electronic device includes an electronic device housing having a sidewall and a connector receptacle integral to the electronic device housing. An electrical connector is fixedly positioned at least partially within the connector receptacle. The electrical connector includes an electrical connector end at least partially within the connector receptacle and a connector body at least partially outside the connector receptacle.

Techniques, methods, systems, and other mechanisms are described for integrating a sensor into a flexible display circuit. In some implementations, a computing device includes a flexible printed circuit. The flexible printed circuit includes a first set of conductors that extend from a first end of the flexible printed circuit to a second end of the flexible printed circuit to connect a display layer of a display device to a processing device. The flexible printed circuit also includes a second set of conductors that at least partially define a sensor at a sensor portion of the flexible printed circuit that is between the first end of the flexible printed circuit and the second end of the flexible printed circuit.

An electronic device including a transverse circuit board to route electrical traces is provided. In some embodiments, the electronic device includes: a housing; a first printed circuit board (PCB) that is fixed relative to the device housing; an integrated circuit that is connected to the first PCB; a second PCB that is situated in a transverse position relative to the first PCB, a plurality of electrical traces; and a securing component that secures the second PCB in the transverse position relative to the first PCB. Each respective electrical trace from the plurality of electrical traces includes: (i) a first portion that extends across the first PCB, between the integrated circuit and the second PCB, (ii) a second portion that extends across the second PCB, between the first PCB and either the first PCB or a third PCB, and (iii) a third portion that extends across either the first PCB or the third PCB, between the second PCB and a location other than the integrated circuit.

An electronic device including a stacked connector assembly is provided. In some embodiments, the electronic device includes: a first printed circuit board; a first electronic board-to-board connector mounted to the first printed circuit board; a second printed circuit board; a second electronic board-to-board connector mounted to the second printed circuit board and connected to the first electronic board-to-board connector; a first stacked connector mounted to the second printed circuit board; a second stacked connector connected to the first stacked connector; and a biasing member. The biasing member may bias the first board-to-board electronic connector together with the second electronic board-to-board connector, and the first stacked connector together with the second stacked connector.

In some embodiments, the electronic device includes a flex conductor electrically connecting a display integrated circuit and a circuit board. The flex conductor may have a display end including first and second connectors separated by a space and a circuit board connector end including a third connector opposite from the display connector end.
