The battery-powered backpack blower includes a back support assembly including a back plate configured to permit a user to mount the blower to the user's back, and a volute assembly including a first volute portion and a second volute portion. The backpack blower further includes a housing assembly including a battery assembly and a motor assembly therein, the housing assembly is provided intermediate to the back assembly and the volute assembly.

The present invention is directed to a debris collection bag for a blowervac device that is carried on a user's back. This improves the user's mobility and allows an increased capacity for the collection bag. The bag's location provides a comfortable weight distribution by separating the weight of the blowervac from the weight of the collection bag. The bag has a dust dispersion system to direct dust away from the user. The bag has a closure located on the side which makes emptying the bag easier. The bag closure is provided to make opening and closing the bag easier and faster, and resistant to dust and debris.

A hammer device is provided for facilitating the driving, countersinking, and removal of relatively small fasteners, such as penny nails. A hammer includes a handle that can define an on-board tool storage area. A nail start accessory can include a tool portion and a nail holder portion. The tool portion can have a first end and a second end, with the nail holder portion being arranged at one of the first end and the second end. The on-board tool storage area of the hammer can be configured to removably store the nail start accessory substantially within the handle.

A hand held steam vacuum is provided that is operated by way of a single switch device. The vacuum is generally comprised of a vacuum fan, a water pump, a heating element, and a fluid supply tank in fluid communication with a fluid discharge outlet. In operation, the vacuum fan is operable to suck debris into a collection bowl residing in the vacuum. In addition, the water pump is operable to drive fluid from the fluid supply tank via fluid transport tubes to the fluid discharge outlet, and the heating element is operable to heat the fluid prior to it being discharged from the fluid discharge outlet. A single switch device is configured to control operation of the vacuum fan, water pump and heating element.

A hand held vacuum using fluid, such as steam, to enhance cleaning is provided. The hand held vacuum includes a main body housing having a vacuum inlet and at least one fluid discharge aperture. The vacuum inlet cooperates with a vacuum fan and the fluid discharge aperture cooperates with a pump mechanism. A fluid supply tank is adapted to be removably connected to the main body housing and has a fill opening. A closure is removably attached to the fluid supply tank and is adapted to seal the fill opening and provide a discharge flow path. A flow path extension provides fluid communication between a low point in the fluid supply tank and the discharge flow path of the closure. The flow path extension may be rigid. The discharge flow path of the closure may extend between a radial inlet and an axial outlet of the closure.

An electric kettle having a housing, a heating element, and a filter system. The filter system has a connecting frame and a filter member. The connecting frame is stationarily connected to the housing and forms a vent conduit with the housing. The filter member is removably received in the connecting frame and has a top located at an exterior of the housing. A user can remove the filter member by moving the top of the filter member without having to move other components of the kettle.
