Shower head

A filter cartridge for a showerhead includes a frame having an upstream plate and a downstream plate, both having a respective plurality of openings formed therein. The frame defines at least one upstream void outside of the upstream plate, and at least one downstream void outside of the downstream plate. A filter element is coupled to the frame and has a conical configuration including upstream and downstream faces, and a sidewall extending between the upstream face and the downstream face, with the upstream face being smaller than the downstream face. The filter element is positioned relative to the frame with the upstream face in direct fluid communication with the at least one upstream void and the plurality of openings formed in the upstream plate, and the downstream face in direct fluid communication with at least one downstream void and the plurality of openings formed in the downstream plate.

Conical showerhead and filter

A multi-mode showerhead having a housing with a front and a rear and an offset integrated water filter system incorporated into the showerhead. The multi-mode offset filtered showerhead has multiple nozzle assemblies, one of which is movable or rotatable and another of which is removable and may contain a unit to hold a water filter cartridge for insertion and removal from the integrated water filter system incorporated into the showerhead. A selector switch and other water flow control devices are used to selectively control the flow of water through the showerhead to the nozzle assemblies. The showerhead is mounted on a shower arm by way of a single water inlet on the rear of the housing and is fluidly connected to a hollow filter chamber in the integrated water filter system.

A shower filter assembly includes a manifold having an external inlet and outlet, and internal inlet, and an internal inlet and outlet. The external outlet is fluidly connectable to the showerhead. An internal flowpath extends between the internal inlet and the external outlet. A manifold collar extends around the internal outlet and the internal inlet. A filter cartridge is engageable with the manifold, and includes a housing having a filter inlet and outlet. The filter inlet is placeable in fluid communication with the internal outlet on the manifold, and the filter outlet is placeable in fluid communication with the internal inlet on the manifold. The housing is sized to at least partially extend beyond the manifold collar when the housing is connected to the manifold. The filter cartridge has a flowpath from the filter inlet, through a filtration element, and then through the filter outlet.

Offset showerhead filter

A compact shower water filter assembly for holding a water filter element therein. The water filter element is easily changeable by unscrewing two halves of a body forming the filter assembly. The body halves are easily gripped and turned, so as to be opened or closed. The upper half of the body is internally threaded to engage the shower arm, and may pivot about the shower arm. The bottom half of the water filter assembly may include a showerhead, converting the shower water filter assembly, into a filtered showerhead assembly. The shower water filter assembly may be easily and quickly adapted to be held on any shower arm, and to replace any existing shower water filter without taking up as much room as currently existing shower water filters.

Showerhead manifold

A multi-mode showerhead having a housing with a front and a back and an offset integrated water filter system incorporated into the showerhead. The multi-mode showerhead has a pair of water outlets in the front and a water filter cartridge is easily added to or removed from a hollow filter chamber formed in the showerhead by the removal of a first, front facing adjustable spray nozzle assembly removably held in a first water outlet connected to the hollow filter chamber. A switch to selectively change the spray pattern of a second nozzle assembly is mounted on the front between the pair of water outlets. The entire showerhead with the first and second spray nozzle assemblies and the integrated offset water filter system is mounted on a shower arm by means of a swivel joint forming an inlet on the back of the housing and connected to the hollow filter chamber.

Sleep surface

A combination shower arm and water filter having an integrated design for attachment between a water pipe behind a shower wall and a showerhead. The combination shower arm and water filter including a body having a first hollow arm and a second hollow arm connected to a central cartridge holding portion. The filter holding portion has a central opening with a filter cartridge or element removably held in a hollow chamber formed above the filter holding portion by means of a cap that is removably secured to the an upwardly extending annular portion formed on the filter holding portion. Water entering the combined shower arm and filter assembly through the first hollow arm is directed into the hollow chamber for passage through filter media in the filter cartridge or element before it exits through the second hollow arm and out a showerhead.
