A multi-outlet power strip comprises a channel assembly that includes a front channel having an integrated ground clamp configured to couple a ground wire of a received receptacle harness. In an example embodiment, the ground clamp is disposed at a first end of the channel assembly. A back channel can be mounted at a desired location. Supply wiring from a junction box or other type of power source can be provided to the back channel and coupled to receptacle wiring at a second opposing end of the front channel. The front channel can be coupled to the back channel. A back channel can be configured to engage an angle mount bracket in a manner that allows channel translation and passage of supply wiring. The angle mount bracket can independently support a back channel at an angled orientation while an installer secures the back channel to a mounting surface.

A tamper-resistant self-contained receptacle (TRSCR) provides two sets of contacts for connecting two separate cables in a daisy-chain configuration. A TRSCR is configured for insertion into a single bore hole and is compatible with both metal-clad (MC) and non-metal sheath (NMS) cable. A base providing two sets of contacts, each having hot, neutral and ground contacts, can couple to two doors so that each set is covered. A ground contact can include an extended clip for connection to the metal clad of an MC cable. A door can be configured to receive an MC cable or a NMS cable; or a universal door can be provided. Thus, a TRSCR is configured to provide a separate entry and a separate strain relief for each connected cable. A TRSCR can be coupled to a floor ring when installed in flooring, or an adapter collar when installed in a stone surface.

Tamper-resistant self-contained receptacle

In an example embodiment a plug-light assembly includes an outlet assembly and a light assembly releasably engageable with the outlet assembly. One or more outlet may be installed in a housing of the outlet assembly and wired to external wires extending through a rear aperture in the outlet housing. The light assembly may include one or more lights and may be wired to external wiring through a rear aperture or through an end aperture in the outlet housing. End caps may be provided at ends of the outlet assembly housing and apertures may be provided to allowing wiring to extend through the ends of adjacent plug-light assemblies. The outlets and lights may be powered by separate circuits.

In an example embodiment a convenience outlet includes a housing, a face plate configured to receive an electrical plug, a terminal assembly within the housing, and a tamper-resistant module enclosed within the housing between the faceplate and the terminal assembly. The housing may be configured to install within an aperture of an outlet assembly housing. The housing may include a notch for engaging a protrusion on the aperture of the outlet assembly housing. The convenience outlet may be installed in a variety of different outlet assembly housings. The convenience outlet provides multiple methods to electrical connection with a power source.

A plaster collar assembly having a first ring, a second ring secured to the first ring, and a mechanism arranged at an outer periphery of at least one of the rings for axially displacing the first and second rings during rotation of the secured rings relative to each other.

Recessed plaster collar assembly

An adjustable recessed light fixture comprises a lamp positionable in orientations wherein the light beam is inclined obliquely relative to a vertical axis, and wherein the inclined light beam can be rotated about the vertical axis. A movable stop is provided which enables the lamp to be rotated in a complete 360.degree. range of rotation. A housing which covers the light fixture includes a removable top wall which provides an effective thermal insulation for the housing. A trim ring is installable such that torsion springs of the trim ring are effectively held within a rotatable spin disc of the light fixture. The lamp can be rotated about a horizontal axis in a manner wherein only a minimal portion of a light beam is cut off by a reflector. A bar hanger for hanging a light fixture frame to a ceiling joist includes relatively slidable rails, wherein ends of the rails can be broken off to shorten the bar hanger without having to disconnect the rails from one another.

A lamp assembly for a recessed ceiling fixture includes a support, a lens retainer removably mounted to the support and carrying a lens, a heat shield removably mounted on the lens retainer above the lens, an electric socket supported by an upper end of the heat shield, and a lamp disposed within and supported by the heat shield and electrically coupled to the socket. The lamp includes a reflecting surface that reflects visible light forwardly and transmits heat rearwardly toward a dome shaped reflector surface of the heat shield which reflects that heat forwardly. The heat shield, lamp, and socket can be removed as a unit from the lens retainer in order to be able to replace the lamp while leaving the lens in place. When re-mounting the unit, the lamp engages centering surfaces carried by the lens retainer to center the lamp relative to the lens.
