Disclosed are example embodiments of a power system. The power system includes a half-bridge circuit. The half-bridge circuit includes a voltage input and at least one voltage output. The power system also includes an isolation interface, coupled to the half-bridge circuit. The power system includes control circuitry, coupled to the half-bridge circuit through the isolation interface, wherein the half-bridge circuit is configurable, and wherein the voltage input and the at least one voltage output of the half-bridge circuit are isolated from the control circuitry by the isolation interface.

Turnkey power system with flexible control of configurable power stage

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that provides increased operational flight endurance and efficiency. The UAV includes a power generation system, which includes an internal combustion engine and one or more batteries (batteries). The power generation system is configured to generate power for propulsion of the UAV. The internal combustion engine is configured to power a lift propeller, generating vertical lift of the UAV, and the batteries are configured to power a micro-propeller assembly, propelling the UAV in a forward direction or multiple additional directions.

External settings or serial port configuration enable stand-alone or processor-based operation. The invention may be quickly and easily applied as a versatile power supply, motor driver, thermal regulator, or controller for lighting and flow applications. Flexible power converter and simplified process controller

A flexible closed-loop controller capable of being quickly and easily configured for a broad range of applications. The controller contains a set of control elements that may be configured or reconfigured for any specific application. Built-in configuration management automates configuration of the control elements dependent on user commands or operating conditions. The controller is autonomous after initial configuration, although it may be used interactively. This flexible closed-loop controller is suitable for switching power supplies, linear amplifiers, AC inverters, battery chargers, electronic loads, temperature and pressure management, motor or actuator drives, as well as industrial automation, data acquisition, and automatic test equipment. The controller reduces development time and cost, reduces parts count and cost, and improves performance and reliability of real-time closed-loop systems.

Flexible closed-loop controller

A peak power tracker apparatus is used for controlling the negative impedance of converter for transferring maximum power from a solar array source to a battery and load typically used in space vehicles, by capacitive differentiation sensing the solar array source voltage for sensing the peak power point at which the source voltage first begins to become unstable and collapses, and then providing a step down control signal which controls a current mode pulse width modulator to control the converter to vary the negative impedance into the solar array then reserving back to a stable point at which the tracker then provide a linear ramp signal to the modulator to control the converter to drive the source voltage again to the peak power point, so as to alternate the feedback loop and source voltage between a stable point and the peak power point so as to transfer maximum power while preventing the source voltage to pass through an unstable point for discontinuous but stable operation at peak power transfer which is independent of array performance and is adaptable to a wide range of power sources.
