Various embodiments comprise receiving or retrieving information or data of a particular post of interest and other information or data relating to the first post or the Internet forum; analyzing the data or information received or retrieved to determine the behavior of the user who initiated or created the post; determining whether the particular post is of interest; and determining user behavior patterns. Some embodiments may also comprise determining or identifying one or more actions for the behavior of the user or determining or predicting likely effects of the particular post on the Internet forum. In some embodiments, the method or the system presents a report or recommendation to a moderation team for review, approval, or decision.

Methods, systems, and articles of manufacture for analyzing behavior of internet forum participants

A technique for modifying a user experience associated with a software product is described. During this modification technique, behavioral metrics that are associated with a user's emotional state are collected while the user is using the software product. For example, the behavioral metrics may include: usage patterns, user gestures and/or user tactile inputs. Furthermore, using the collected behavioral metrics, the user's emotional state is determined. Then, the user experience is modified based on the determined emotional state.

Modifying software based on a user's emotional state

A technique for providing feedback about an image of a financial document to a user is described. During this feedback technique, the user provides the image of a financial document, such as W-2 form. For example, the user may take a picture of or may scan the financial document. This image may be analyzed using predefined information in a set of financial documents (such as different types of income-tax documents), and a quality metric for the image may be determined using the analysis. Moreover, the feedback, which is based on the determined quality metric, may be provided to the user. For example, the user may be instructed to retake the image, and the instructions may include an image of the desired orientation and content. In this way, the user may be advised as to how to improve the quality metric in the revised image.

Providing feedback about an image of a financial document

A method for managing charitable donations of a donor. The method includes receiving donation information associated with a charitable donation of a donor from a browser extension of a browser application, where the browser application is executing on a user system associated with the donor and where the browser extension obtains the donation information independent of web content presented in the browser application. The method further includes receiving a request for the donation information from a tax preparation entity. The method further includes in response to the request, sending the donation information to the tax preparation entity, where the donation information is used by the tax preparation entity to generate tax documentation for the donor.
