An object orientation indicator for indicating the orientation of an object, such as the vertical positioning of an object to be inserted or being inserted into a surface. The object orientation indicator is configured to determine or indicate when an object being inserted into a surface parallel or non-parallel to the ground is vertically level, i.e. perpendicular to the ground. The object orientation indicator may also be configured to determine or indicate if a preexisting vertical object inserted into a surface parallel or non-parallel to the ground remains in its originally inserted orientation. The object orientation indicator may include a housing assembly and a display panel.

Disclosed herein is a post repair kit comprising a stake defined by a body, proximal end, and a tapered anchor end. The post repair kit comprises a hammer mechanism comprising a power portion and a reciprocating ram structure, the power portion forcibly driving the reciprocating ram structure in a reciprocating motion. The reciprocating ram structure comprises a rod structure having a proximal end coupled with the power portion. The reciprocating ram structure further comprises an offset member connected to a distal end of the rod structure. The offset member has a first hole and a second hole. The distal end of the rod structure is connected to the first hole, wherein the offset member and the rod structure are connected perpendicular to each other. The reciprocating ram structure further comprises an interchangeable adaptor end tool detachably connected to the offset member using a fastening mechanism at the second hole.

A device and system for simulating normal and disease state cardiovascular functioning, including an anatomically accurate cardiac simulator for training and medical device testing. The system and device uses pneumatically pressurized chambers to generate ventricle and atrium contractions. In conjunction with the interaction of synthetic valves, which simulate mitral and aortic valves, the system is designed to generate pumping action that produces accurate volume fractions and pressure gradients of pulsatile flow, duplicating that of a human heart. Through the use of a control unit and sensors, one or more parameters, such as flow rates, fluidic pressure, and heart rate, may be automatically controlled, using feedback loop mechanisms to adjust parameters of the hydraulic system to simulate a wide variety of cardiovascular conditions including normal heart function, severely diseased or injured heart conditions, and compressed vasculature, such as hardening of the arteries.

An electrical power assistance device designed to be removably coupled to existing transport wheelchairs to provide electric power to aid in transportation of a person sitting in the wheelchair, while being detachable to allow the transport chair to fold up for easy storage in a car or other vehicle. The electrical power assistance device includes a motor powered by a rechargeable battery, where the motor drives an internal shaft which rotates a pair of friction wheels. A clutch, provided on a separate axle coupled to the friction wheels by eccentric disks, allows the friction wheels to engage or disengage with the rear wheels of the transport wheelchair.

The present invention provides a system and method for firearm storage; and more particularly, a safe and secure handgun mini-vault apparatus for a loaded handgun that allows an authorized user rapid, unobstructed and effortless access to the handgun. The handgun mini-vault system of the present invention not only provides for relative ease of assembly and aesthetically appealing appearance, it also permits access to the handgun without the need to manually manipulate a locking device. The locking system of the present invention utilizes RFID technology to allow authorized users to open the mini-vault by simply waiving an RFID chip in proximity to the mini-vault interrogator.

The instant invention describes a grow bag with a dosing irrigation tube inserted within the inner cavity of the grow bag for controllable dispersant of plant nutrients therein. The system comprises a top panel and a bottom panel secured to a plurality of side walls to form an inner cavity. Attached to the top panel is a dosing irrigation tube or pipe constructed and arranged to traverse the length of the bag and have a first and second end that is external to the inner cavity. The components positively mechanically secure the gun in a retained condition until the activator effects release of the gun, and then the ejector effects movement of the gun from a retained position to a user access position.

A system and method of intubating a patient includes an intubating body. A user-control at or associated with the proximal end of the body allows both display of patient oral cavity anatomy and control of orientation of a stylet guide at or near the distal end of the body. The combination assists a user to effectively intubate the patient even if the patient has difficult anatomy.

The bottle may include a recessed portion and indentations positioned on opposite sides of the bottle. Additionally, the apparatus may include a bottle housing configured to receive the bottle. Furthermore, the apparatus may include a pressure-sensitive switch that activates the apparatus when the bottle exerts enough pressure against the switch as the bottle is positioned into the bottle housing. Heat may be generated by the heating element when the apparatus is activated and be utilized to warm the bottle. The apparatus may further include a temperature sensor for measuring a temperature of the bottle. A signal may be transmitted to instruct the apparatus to deactivate when an optimal temperature is reached.

The present invention generally relates to impact type training equipment for sports. More particularly, the present invention provides a portable impact assessment device that can be utilized across a broad variety of sports equipment to allow an athlete to measure various aspects of impact training. The apparatus generally includes an impact module constructed of a flexible material. The impact module is constructed and arranged to be sufficiently thin and compact to be placed within an impact type training aid within the impact target area of the device. The impact module is fluidly connected to an electronics module so that, upon impacting the training aid, the impact module is compressed to send a fluid signal to the electronics module. A pressure sensor within the electronics module receives the fluid signal generating an electric output that is displayed on a multi digit digital display.

A disposable absorbent article for receiving urine from an individual and a method of using the same are described. The absorbent body can include a left-side portion and a right-side portion on opposite sides of the fold, and a proximal edge extending generally orthogonal to the fold. An interior receiving cavity can be defined by the left-side portion and the right-side portion of the folded absorbent body. The absorbent article also includes a penile opening defined by a portion of the proximal edge, where the penile opening is adapted for receiving a penis of a user into the interior receiving cavity. The absorbent body can include a liquid impermeable, exterior layer; a liquid permeable, fluid management layer; and an absorbent layer disposed between said exterior layer and said fluid management layer.
