The present invention provides methods and systems for a vented storage container that includes a container that has an upper mouth-defining structure, a base, and a plurality of walls extending from the base, forming a cavity therein. The lid is fixable to the upper mouth-defining structure, wherein the lid has a top surface and a bottom surface, and at least one hole formed within the lid. A valve is engaged to the lid and covering the at least one hole.

A storage container comprises a cleat configured to be connected to a structure. A lid is pivotably connected to the cleat. A bag support is releasably connected to the cleat separate from the lid. A bag is supported by the bag support.

A modular recycling unit comprises a support for supporting a first container. The first container is tiltable between a first position where the interior of the container is accessible and a second position where the interior of the container is inaccessible. The first container is freely removable from the support. A second container is supported on the support such that it is in a stacked relationship relative to the first container. The second container is freely removable from the support.

A storage system is provided comprising a rail mounted to a surface. A cabinet is supported on said rail. At least one engagement member engages the rail to suspend the cabinet from the rail. The cabinet is supported at an angle relative to the surface. An adjustment mechanism is used to adjust the position of the engagement member relative to the rail for adjusting the angle. A method of mounting a cabinet on a surface is also provided comprising mounting a rail having a flange on a surface. A cabinet as described herein is suspended from the rail by the engagement member. The adjustment mechanism is moved towards or away from the surface to adjust the angle of the cabinet.

A waste can comprises a receptacle having a rim with at least one bag lock located on the rim. The bag lock has a first portion defining a cavity and a second portion movable with respect to the first portion between a first position where it is locked to the first portion and a second position where it is spaced from the first portion. The second portion locks a trash bag in the cavity when in the first position.
