An electromagnetic fuel pump, including a pump, an electronic control circuit board assembly (PCB) and electromagnetic coil operatively arranged to operate the pump, and, a housing arranged to house the pump and the PCB/coil assembly, the housing including an integral inlet port and outlet port.

Electromagnetic fuel pump

The present invention includes a heat sink assembly within a potted housing and a method for transferring heat within a potted housing. The heat sink assembly includes a bracket, a heat-containing element, and a self-tapping screw operatively arranged to engage the bracket and the heat-containing element. The screw presses the heat-containing element against the bracket. In some cases, the bracket is brass. In some cases, the housing is for a fuel pump and the heat-containing element includes a printed circuit board with an oscillating circuit and a heat sink.

Heat sink assembly for a potted housing

A right angle coaxial connector is comprised of a unitary body piece, a terminal, an insert, a post, a stem, a nut, a plurality of insulators and an o-ring. The connector is useful for providing interconnection of a coaxial cable to a port. The unitary body has an open first end with a first bore extending with in the first end. The second end of the body has a second bore which is generally perpendicular to, and intersects with the first bore. The post is disposed within the first bore as is a first insulator. First insulator supports a first end of the terminal. The terminal features a bend of approximately ninety degrees and has a second end adapted to receive a conductor therein, and a first end, perpendicular to the second end which extends outside the connector. A second insulator is provided at the bend of the terminal where the first bore meets the second bore and protects the terminal from being bent back and shorting against the body during installation of the connector. An insert fits into the second bore of the body. A stem is fit into the insert and the insulator is fit inside the stem and insulates the terminal from the stem. The nut is attached to and rotatable about the stem and includes a threaded section for mating of the connector to a port. In use, a coaxial cable having a prepared end is inserted into he open end of the unitary body. The center conductor of the coaxial cable connector is mechanical and electrical communication with the terminal. The shield of the coaxial cable is in electrical communication with the post. The open end of the body is then crimped to mechanically secure the cable within the connector cable within the connector. An o-ring is provided between the nut and the insert to provide a moisture proof seal. A second embodiment is similar to the first embodiment except that the insert has been removed, the stem is press fit into the second bore of the unitary body with the nut rotatable about the stem. An o-ring is provided between the nut and the insert to provide a moisture proof seal.

Right angle coaxial cable connector

A power bypass connector comprises an entry body having a first end configured to mate with an amplifier. The connector also includes a female body having a first end configured to mate with a coaxial cable having a cooperating male connector. The second end of the female body is configured to mate with the second end of the entry body. A terminal is disposed within the female body and extends beyond the end of the male body. An insulator is disposed within the entry body to mechanically and electrically insulate the terminal from the entry body. A support is disposed within the connector, partially within the entry body and partially within the female body and includes a spring which biases the support and the terminal within the connector. The power bypass connector provides power and RF signal around a CATV amplifier to a cable, can conduct up to approximately 15 amperes, provides 75 ohms impedance, and provides RF performance up to approximately 860 MHz.

A power connector for a Cable Television (CATV) housing accepts two conductors at a first end. A first conductor, typically a power conductor is secured to a pin terminal of the connector. A second conductor, typically a ground conductor, is secured to the body of the connector. The connector is useful for easily and conveniently providing power to a CATV housing.

Hardline CATV power connector

A low-cost snap together coaxial cable connector for indoor use. The connector includes a central post made of an electrically conductive material, with the remaining parts made from a low cost non-conductive material such as plastic. Since the conductor is intended for internal use only, there are no o-rings required. The connector meets or exceeds Society of Cable and Television Engineers (SCTE) standards. The connector can be assembled by a relatively unskilled worker and is compatible with existing assembly tools.

Snap together CATV connector for indoor use

A snap together cable connector for polyethylene jacketed cable, such as used in cable television systems in Europe, is comprised of a sleeve which snap fits into a first end of a collar. The collar further includes a post which is shorter in length than convention coaxial cable connectors, thus the European 8 mm cable and its associated stiff polyethylene jacket are more easily insertable. Also included as part of the collar is a back insulator for insulation of the coaxial connectors center conductor. The connector further includes a nut which fits over a second end of the collar. The nut includes a stem and an insulator. A terminal is fit within the insulator, the terminal making contact with the center conductor of the coaxial cable when the connector is assembled. O-rings are provided between the collar and sleeve connection, and between the collar and nut connection. The sleeve includes an internal annular ridge to aid in environmental sealing and to minimize RF signal loss.

Snap together coaxial cable connector for use with polyethylene jacketed

A cable connector is comprised of at least a first piece including a ferrule having serrations for mechanically connecting with different parts of a coaxial cable, a mandrel and a closing collar. A second piece of the connector is comprised of an entry body including a pin terminal, a support insulator and an actuator. Additionally, the connector provides a visual determination of the complete mating of one piece of the connector to the other.

Coaxial cable connector

A self-terminating coaxial connector provides for automatic termination of a coaxial cable. The connector includes an internal termination resistor which is only connected in series between the central conductor of a first cable and a grounded body of the connector when a second cable is not installed on the end of the connector. When a second cable is installed on the connector, the terminator resistor is disconnected from the grounded body, thereby removing the termination from the central conductor of the first cable.
