A gateway interface controller for a work machine includes a CAN bus interface component configured to communicate over a CAN bus of the work machine. The gateway interface controller includes message logic configured to process a request signal, indicative of a requested work machine action, that is received from a remote control, wherein the message logic validates the request signal based on a validation criterion. The gateway interface controller includes command generator logic configured to, based on the validation, generate a CAN signal that corresponds to the request signal and communicate the CAN signal over the CAN bus.

Gateway interface for a work machine

A semi-autonomous work machine having an operator compartment with a user-input interface; a machine CAN bus configured to receive a local user-input signal from the user-input interface; a controllable subsystem communicatively coupled to the machine CAN bus; a gateway interface controller configured to receive a remote user-input signal from a remote controller remotely located from the work machine, the gateway interface controller further configured to generate a CAN signal based on the remote user-input signal to command and actuate the controllable subsystem using the machine CAN bus, wherein the local user-input signal overrides the remote user-input signal.

Semi-autonomous payload retrieval system

A work vehicle includes a fuel tank, a control module, a fuel access detection device, a fuel level sensor, and a reaction assembly. The fuel access detection device detects the accessibility of the fuel, and transmits a first signal indicative of the accessibility of the fuel to the control module. The fuel level sensor detects a volume of the fuel, and transmits a second signal related to the volume of the fuel to the control module. The reaction assembly is coupled to the control module and performs a first reaction and a second reaction after the first reaction. In the first reaction the reaction assembly is commanded by the control module based on the first signal, and in the second reaction the reaction assembly is commanded by the control module based on the second signal when the volume of the fuel is changed.
