A worksurface leg mount is provided for interconnecting a support leg to a worksurface. The worksurface leg mount system includes an anchor plate attached to a lower surface of the worksurface, and a mounting plate attached to and optionally recessed in an upper end of the support leg. A fastener extends between and connects the anchor and mounting plates, which are spaced from each other. Loads that enter the mounting plate in discrete directions are transmitted through the fastener and into the anchor plate, where the loads are spread across the interfaces between the anchor plate and worksurface.

A health care chair includes a base and a seating portion attached to the base. A lift assist mechanism connects the base and seating portion and assists in moving the seating portion from a first reclined position to a second inclined position without electrical power. The chair also includes moveable arms attached to the seating portion that rotate between a first substantially horizontal position and a second substantially vertical position.

A seating unit comprising a base configured to be positioned on a floor, a torsional energy unit connected to the base, a back connected to the torsional energy unit and a seat rotatably connected to the torsional energy unit. The torsional energy unit biases the back to a forward position. The torsional energy unit further limits angular rotation of the seat between a substantially horizontal seating position and a substantially vertical seating position.

A table includes a support leg having an elongated channel extending longitudinally along at least a portion of the support leg and opening laterally outwardly from said support leg. The channel has an open end at a top of the support leg. In a preferred embodiment, a catch member extends across at least a portion of said channel and a worksurface is supported by the top of said support leg. In another aspect, the worksurface has a cutout shaped to receive at least a portion of the top of the support leg with at least a portion of the channel nested in the cutout. In a preferred embodiment, the support leg includes a socket that is shaped to receive a portion of the worksurface. A method of routing a utility line on a table is also provided.

A storage unit includes a first and second horizontal shelf member, at least one vertical panel disposed between the first and second horizontal shelf members, and at least one tie member. A bottom of the at least one vertical panel is supported by the first shelf member and the second shelf member is supported on a top of the at least one vertical panel. The at least one tie member extends between and connects the first and second horizontal shelf members, with the at least one panel clamped therebetween. In another aspect of the invention, a method for assembling a storage unit is provided.

A system of nestable chairs for use in a work environment is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of chairs. Each chair includes a base, a support coupled to the base, and a seat assembly coupled to the support and adapted for pivotal movement and for vertical adjustment with respect to the base. The base of a first chair of the plurality of chairs is configured to allow for nesting within the base of a second chair of the plurality of chairs. A chair for use in a work space or the like is also disclosed. The chair includes a base having a nesting portion and a nested portion, a support coupled to the base, and a seat assembly coupled to the support and adapted for pivotal movement and for vertical adjustment with respect to the base. The nested portion of the base is configured to allow for nesting within the nesting portion of the base. The chair may also include a support in the form of a pedestal coupled to the base. A yoke may be coupled to the pedestal, with the seat assembly coupled to the yoke and adapted for pivotal movement and for vertical adjustment with respect to the base.
