Under the present invention, a first (e.g., unedited) set of code will be compiled and analyzed to produce a first set of results that includes a set of errors. A second set of code, which represent an edited version of the first set of code will be compiled and analyzed to produce a set of results that includes another set of errors. Thereafter, the second set of errors will be filters so that errors appearing from the compilation and analysis of the first set of code are excluded. This filtered set of errors can than be presented to the user. The present invention will leverage, among other things, a static code analyzer and a filtering tool to achieve these results.

Revealing new errors in edited code

Under the present invention, when a request for a certificate is made, a set of (mapping) rules are used to identify an appropriate directory and any other information sources, and to retrieve information for the certificate therefrom. The directory name is then transformed using the set of rules for use in the certificate. Thereafter, a template for the certificate is developed using the set of rules. The template and the request are then communicated to the PKI, which will generate and return the certificate. Upon receipt, the present invention can verify that the certificate actually includes the transformed name.

Name transformation for a public key infrastructure (PKI)

The present invention provides a method, system, and computer program product for transparent on-demand certificate provisioning for secure email. The method comprises: generating a keypair and a self-signed certificate; requesting a certificate from a certification authority; temporarily securing email using the self-signed certificate; and securing email using the requested certificate, after receipt of the requested certificate from the certification authority. The present inventions uses self-signed certificates as an initial, interim security mechanism, provides automatic submission of certificate requests and renewal requests, provides an administrative policy to specify when keypairs and self-signed certificates are generated by a user's client system, and when certificate requests are submitted, and provides automatic transition from end-user defined trust to delegated trust based upon CA-issued certificates.

Transparent on-demand certificate provisioning for secure email

A software testing system tests software. The software testing system includes a set-up and control system, and one or more test systems connected to the set-up and control system. The set-up and control system includes a user interface for interacting with a user of the software testing system. The set-up and control system stores test data and test configurations. Each test system sets up test cases from the test data and the test configurations stored in the set-up and control system. Each test case inherits attributes from at least one test object within the test system. The inherited attributes facilitates the interaction of the test system with the test cases.
