The disclosure provides faucets, faucet assemblies and methods for delivering liquid through a faucet. The faucet includes a faucet body having a first open end configured for connection with a faucet base, a second open end for receiving a faucet handle, and a faucet body portion having an opening therein. The faucet body has an inner wall defining a passage extending therethrough. The faucet also includes a faucet handle and a spray handle having a first end section and a sprayer end section. The first end section is configured to be detachably connected to the faucet body portion, and the spray handle has an inner wall and a passage extending therethrough which is in open communication with the passage through the faucet body. The faucet also has a hose connection that can receive a hose for delivering liquid to the spray handle. The hose connection may be in the sprayer end section of the spray handle. The faucet may also include a mechanism for liquid flow control and/or a pull-down diverter in liquid communication with the hose connection for aerated or spray flow.

The present invention provides a showerhead that allows a bather to switch among at least three different water delivery functions. In the first function, the showerhead delivers a concentrated fluttering spray at a rate not to exceed 1.5 GPM (5.75 GPM). In the second function, the showerhead delivers a combined spray pattern, wherein the fluttering spray and a radially dispersed precision spray are simultaneously delivered to the bather at a rate not to exceed 2.0 GPM (7.57 L/min) for the combined water flow. In the third function, the showerhead delivers the precision spray pattern at a rate not to exceed 2.0 L/min (7.57 GPM). The combination spray pattern is effected without compromising either the desirable massaging and cleaning effect of water delivery or the inherent water conservation benefits. In addition, the showerhead of the present invention provides an automatic return feature for return of the showerhead to the first function when water pressure to the showerhead falls below a predetermined bottom threshold.

The present invention provides a water saving showerhead that allows a bather to switch among at least three different water delivery functions. A proximity faucet is provided that includes a housing, faucet and lever support portions and a peripheral housing wall with a spout portion having a neck extending outward from the housing wall and a fluid outlet at a free extent thereof. The faucet support portion accommodates an elongate shank extending downwardly therefrom and having at least one fluid supply conduit therein. The lever support portion receives a mixing cartridge therein that mixes cold and hot water delivered by the fluid supply conduit. The lever support portion supports a freely rotatable lever thereon. The lever is coupled to the mixing cartridge such that rotation of the lever adjusts the water temperature and flow rate. A sensor cover ring that is rotatably disposed adjacent the housing wall includes a reflective surface along an inner surface thereof that lies adjacent the housing wall. The sensor cover ring includes an eye that aligns with a proximity detector disposed in the housing wall and permits the proximity detector to emit a signal therefrom. The proximity detector, which is in electrical communication with an electronically controlled valve that is positioned downstream of the mixing cartridge, transmits a signal to the electronically controlled valve upon sensing am object or upon concealment of the proximity detector by the sensor cover ring, thereby maintaining the mixing cartridge in an open position. The proximity detector is correspondingly rotatable with the spout portion as the spout portion rotates relative to a receptacle proximate which the faucet is used. An improvement in the form of an attachment for staple guns including alignment pins aligned with a staple delivery position and located sufficiently close to the staple delivery position to enable staple delivery within a mounting aperture in a frame of a vinyl window or other vinyl construction finishing product. The alignment pins may be secured to the attachment or formed integrally with the attachment or be part of a separate clip securable to the attachment.

A self-closing valve, having means to discharge a predetermined volume of water for each cycle of operation, is disclosed. The valve includes the arrangement of timing means which determines the elapsed time for its operational cycle, a one-way valve means to expel air from the metering chamber during the actuating cycle of the valve, and air metering means which replaces air entering the mixing chamber at a constant uniform rate, all of which cooperate with the valving means to discharge a predetermined volume of water.

A composite structure, e.g., a plastic-backed enamel steel product having high impact and thermal shock resistance is disclosed. The composite structure is formed having bonded thereto, a finished layer on one side thereof, and on the other side a layer of reinforced plastic to form a laminated structure. The plastic layer has a thickness of at least 1/8 in., and a density of between about 20 lbs. per cu.ft. and about 125 lbs per cu.ft. The finished layer is resistant to delamination when subjected to relatively high impact applied directly to the finished and/or plastic layer surface and to delamination when the composite structure is subjected to a sudden temperature change of about 180.degree. F.

The flow control permits the inflation of the positioning log through the inflatable but restricts the flow of fluid back from the positioning log to the inflatable.
