A one-piece container formed from a single unitary blank of corrugated paperboard has a bottom wall, opposed side walls and inwardly inclined opposed end walls. Stacking tabs project upwardly from the end walls and tab locks in the bottom wall receive the stacking tabs of a subjacent container when the containers are stacked on top of one another. A reinforcing corner post extends the full height of the container in each corner. The corner posts are formed by panels extending from opposite ends of the end walls, wherein the panels include a first panel foldably joined to an end of an associated end wall and adhered to an adjacent side wall, a second panel foldably joined to the first panel and extending diagonally across the corner, and a third panel foldably joined to the second panel and adhered to an adjacent side wall.

The embodiments of the present invention provide a blank foldable material that may be configured to form a container. When formed, the container is self-locking and includes air cell structure that allows for a container with a constant outside volume to have a variable inside volume. The air cell structure container functions to prevent telescoping of vertically stacked container and for strength and stability. The container may be partially assembled for shipping and hand set into final assembly as needed.

The embodiments of the present invention provide a blank foldable material that may be configured to form a container. A container blank comprising a bottom wall having two opposed pairs of sides. One dimension of the bottom wall is the distance between one pair of the sides. Walls are attached to each of the sides. The heights of the walls are substantially equal. A closure member and handle member are attached to the walls attached to one pair of sides. There is a hand hole in each of the handle members. At least one of the closure members has a length greater than one-half the bottom wall dimension, and the combined length of the closure members is greater than the bottom wall dimension. A closure panel is attached to each of the walls attached to the other pair of sides. Attachment flaps are attached to the sides of each of the closure panels.

Handled container

A container has opposed pairs of parallel walls. There are closure members attached to the upper side of one pair of walls which extend downwardly into the container. Handle members attached to the closure members. The handle members are contiguous in the formed container and have aligned hand holes. The upper sides of the handle members are below or at the top of the container. Closure panels are attached to the upper sides of the other pair of walls. The closure panels are attached to the first pair of walls and are over the closure and handle members. The closure panels form an opening to grasp the hand holes.

A three part container having a bottom wall and two walls in one part, and a wall in each of the other parts. The heights of the walls are substantially equal. A closure member and a handle member are attached to the walls in each of the other parts. There is a hand hole in the handle member. At least one of the closure members has a length greater than one-half the width of one of the walls of the one part, and the combined length of the closure members is greater than the width of one of the walls of the one part. A closure panel is attached to each of the walls of the one part. Attachment flaps are attached to the sides of each of the closure panels.

A container comprising a box having a bottom wall, side walls and end walls extending upwardly from the bottom wall, corner panels extending from either the end walls or the side walls and attached to outer faces of the side walls or the end walls, reinforcing panels extending from the side walls or the end walls and attached to inner faces of the end walls, a cover having an top wall and side walls and end walls extending downwardly from said top wall, the cover being placed over the box with the side walls and end walls of said cover extending outside of the box, and straps around the box and the cover and over the corner panels; and a blank for the box.

Corner wrap tray

A corrugated shipping container for liquids is described. An outer container is a conventional corrugated box. This preferably has an inner corrugated liner forming corner posts. A liquid impermeable plastic bag having a spout and cap is contained within the outer box. The upper closure flaps of the container may have an opening or tear out portion for access to the spout. The neck of the spout is retained in a fixed position at a desired location at the top of the container by a saddle shaped insert having wing-like side members. The retainer ensures that the spout will be immediately accessible when desired, even though the container may have had severe handling stresses causing considerable bag movement.

Bag-in-a-box shipping container

A tray-type container is provided that includes a bottom wall , longitudinally-extending outer side walls , and laterally-extending end walls . The outer side walls and the end walls extend upwardly from the bottom wall to form an inner cavity . As assembled, the outer side walls include a plurality of spaced-apart stacking tabs . A plurality of tray-type containers may be aggregated in a stacked configuration utilizing the stacking tabs , and placed upon a shipping pallet or slip sheet, or placed within a shipping container to facilitate shipping by large carriers.

One touch tray for produce and the like

A single piece carrier of the wrap around style is comprised of a plurality of hinged walls that can be wrapped about a plurality of articles such as flats of eggs. The carrier is erected by encircling the articles and at the top of the carrier a hand hold is formed by inserting the hand hold portion through a slot in the top wall. A locking flap is located along one side of the overlying top wall which is then inserted into a corresponding slot in the other top wall portion and locked in place. A locking tab is then forced inwardly through an aperture within the locking flap and when the tab is in the interior it serves as a locking abutment member holding the articles securely in place. An additional locking means consisting of inwardly extending flaps serves to prevent product slideout.
