A helmet includes a helmet liner having a plurality of headband attachment points, each headband attachment point including a first opening for receiving and holding a primary attachment structure; and a second opening for receiving a locking pin. A headband assembly is configured to assist in fitting the helmet to a wearer's head. The headband assembly includes a fit adjustment mechanism configured to adjust an internal shape of the headband assembly; and a plurality of attachment structure sets, an attachment structure set including a primary attachment structure; and a locking pin.

Systems and methods for releasably connecting a helmet liner and headband assembly

Systems and methods are provided a helmet that includes shell comprising a plurality of connection receptacles, a first connection receptacle having a shape that is different from a shape of a second connection receptacle. Systems and methods are provided for a helmet shell mounting assembly. A system includes a mounting component and a locking slider configured to interface with the mounting component when the locking slider is in an engaged position to secure an outer helmet shell to an inner helmet. In another embodiment, the system also includes an anchor that is configured to pass through the outer helmet shell via a through hole and be received by the mounting component, and the locking slider is configured to retain the anchor within the mounting component when the locking slider is in the engaged position.

Each of the plurality of brackets is attachable to an associated one of the plurality of differently sized tanks and to the bracket connector. For each one of the plurality of brackets, an assembly that includes the one of the plurality of brackets and the associated one of the plurality of differently sized tanks, when attached to the bracket connector, positions the associated one of the plurality of differently sized tanks in a predetermined manner relative to the carrier system.
