A vascular introducer hub has a body that includes a proximal end, a distal end, and a lumen defined therethrough. The hub includes first and second seals disposed within the body. The first seal includes a first polymeric material and the second seal includes a second polymeric material. The hub is characterized by the first and second polymeric materials having different durometers.

Vascular introducer hubs for reducing blood leakage

A heart valve anchor has a body that includes a distal portion, a distal end, a proximal portion, and a proximal end. The distal end and the proximal end define a longitudinal axis. The body has an expandable portion that includes a first radially expandable portion at the distal portion of the body, a second radially expandable portion at the proximal portion of the body, and a root portion disposed between the first and second radially expandable portions. The body has a first configuration adapted to be housed at least partially within a tissue penetrating device, and a second configuration in which the first and second radially expandable portions are partially or fully expanded such that the anchor engages tissue in a region between the first and second radially expandable portions.

An introducer catheter device comprising a handle and an elongate shaft coupled to the handle and extending therefrom. The shaft defines a lumen therethrough, a longitudinal axis, and a first aperture in connection with the lumen. The shaft includes a movable deployment element configured for deploying an ancillary device from the first aperture at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis.

Introducer systems, devices and methods for heart valve reductions

Tissue regions are treated using a multiple lead electrode probe. A plurality of electrodes may be disposed about an elongate shaft. The elongate shaft may be slidably disposed within a lumen of a delivery sheath. One or more probes including one or more electrically active regions may also be slidably disposed within the delivery sheath. The one or more probes may be configured to extend radially about the elongate shaft. The plurality of electrodes and the electrically active regions may be individually connected to a control and power unit through individual channels.

A device for collecting a tissue sample includes a needle body extending along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end and including a channel extending longitudinally therethrough and a plurality of cut outs extending laterally into the needle body, each of the plurality of cut outs extending at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis from an outer surface of the needle body toward the distal end thereof so that the channel is open to an exterior of the needle body via the plurality of cut outs.

Biopsy needle

A medical device including an outer balloon, an inner balloon, and at least one delivery unit is disclosed. The outer balloon defines a first internal cavity that remains in fluid communication with a first inflation lumen. The inner balloon is disposed within the first internal cavity, and defines a second internal cavity that is in fluid communication with a second inflation lumen. Each delivery unit includes at least one needle configured to pierce a tissue and at least one reservoir containing a material. Further, inflation of the outer balloon or the inner balloon is structured and arranged to deliver the material into the tissue through the needle lumen.

Delivery devices and related methods of use

An apparatus including a passenger carrier attached to a cart. The cart includes a support structure and a cart basket. The passenger carrier includes a seat portion. The apparatus includes a first set of swivel caster wheels near a front portion of the apparatus, a second set of non-swivel caster wheels located generally where the passenger carrier is connected to the cart, and a third set of swivel caster wheels located near a rear portion of the apparatus. The apparatus includes an upper portion in a first position that can be displaced to a second position to form an opening sized to receive a front portion of another cart basket in a nested configuration.

A shopping cart having a base frame supported by at least one front wheel and a pair of rear wheels. At least one basket is supported on the base frame. The basket has a plurality of side walls defining a basket perimeter and a bottom wall located at a height above the base frame. A protected location is positioned substantially within the basket perimeter. An entrance through the basket perimeter provides ingress and egress to the protected location. A platform is provided proximate the protected location and the entrance(s). A seat is located within the protected location at about the height of the bottom wall.

An inclination indicating apparatus having a housing with a base defining a first plane. A plurality of support legs support the base of the housing above the surface in an operational configuration. At least one of the support legs is rotatable so that a bottom portion of the at least one support leg traverses a second plane parallel to the first plane from the operational configuration to a storage configuration. A circular float level mounted on the housing having a bubble indicator provides an indication the slope of the first plane relative to the surface.

Inclination indicating apparatus and method for using the same

A lightweight, freestanding modular changing room system which can be assembled using few or no tools. The modular freestanding changing room system may consist of as few as four unique components--interchangeable wall panels, door panel assemblies, and two types of panel support columns. Additional components may be added to create more elaborate changing room configurations.
