Zero-ascend omnispecies (ZAO) attraction system includes a fish passage attraction module that can be deployed in a fishway where water flows downstream. The fish passage attraction module includes a body having a first end and an opposite second end, first adaptor adjacent the first end and second adaptor adjacent the second end. The adaptors are configured to alter water flow fields downstream of the module so as to attract fish to an entrance thereof.

Zero-ascend omnispecies (ZAO) prefabricated fish passage attraction system

A fish passage system having flexible textile materials forming a conduit to transport fish across river barriers encountered during migration. The system can include modular support structures that can be independently secured to riverbeds to form conduit supports, dams, hydropower structures, and the like.

Systems and method for a hydrokinetic energy device. A hydrokinetic energy device includes a main body including two main wing-shaped spars mounted upon a rotating central hub, and rotatable spar tip turbines mounted at or near an end of each of the main wing-shaped spars, the main wing-shaped spars driving the rotatable spar tip turbines through water, each of the rotatable spar tip turbines including a direct-drive generator and power conversion system that transfers power from a rotating rotatable spar tip turbine to the central hub where the voltage is stepped up and amperage is reduced.

Hydrokinetic energy device

A system includes first and second dam modules, a power generation unit, and first and second turbine modules. The first dam module can be secured to a foundation of a dam site and redirect a first flow of water. The second dam module can be secured to the first dam module opposite the foundation and redirect a second flow of water. The first turbine module can be secured to the foundation. The second turbine module can be secured to the first turbine module opposite the foundation. The power generation unit includes a turbine to be driven by a third flow of water at least partially including at least one of the first flow of water or the second flow of water. The first turbine module includes a draft tube having an inlet to receive water from the turbine and an outlet to discharge water from the first turbine module.
