A lid includes: a brim sealing channel at a periphery of the lid; an outer sipping sidewall positioned within a circumference of the brim sealing channel and extending above the brim sealing channel; a sipping topwall adjacent to the outer sipping sidewall; a sipping port in the sipping topwall; and a central recess within the circumference of the brim sealing channel and proximate to the sipping topwall, wherein the central recess has an overhang and a bottomwall; and a rotatable closure tab includes: a central portion; a flanged-shaped structure at a first side of the central portion; a tab sidewall supported by the flanged-shaped structure; a tab topwall extending outwardly from the tab sidewall and away from the flanged-shaped structure; a sealing depression in the tab topwall; and a retention rim extending radially from the central portion and positioned between the overhang and bottomwall of the central recess.

A lid for securing to the brim of a container, the lid including a container closure having a disk shaped member with a periphery for mating with the brim of the container. The periphery includes annular inner and outer side walls with at least one annular rib disposed on each of the inner and outer side walls. The ribs of the annular walls form a gripping area to secure the lid to the container for preventing leaks and accidental spillage. A top wall interconnects the inner and outer side walls and includes visual cues for viewing the brim of the container when the lid is affixed to the brim. The lid additionally includes a pronounced wedge shaped sipping spout projecting upwards from the container closure. The container closure includes a circular indented channel for stacking one lid covered cup over another with additional stability provided by the sipping spout.

A lid for a container includes: a closure having a disk shape and a circumferential rim extending about a periphery of the closure; the circumferential rim further comprising an annular inner side wall, an annular outer side wall, wherein the outer side wall extends around the inner side wall and is opposite to the inner side wall, the outer side wall and inner side wall being interconnected by an annular top wall, the annular top wall interconnecting the outer side wall to the inner side wall, wherein the combination of the annular inner side wall, the annular outer side wall and the annular top wall define a channel; and a brim lock in the annular outer side wall for fastening the lid to the container; a plurality of dimples inverted along the annular outer side wall, wherein the plurality of dimples of the annular outer side wall project into the channel from the outer surface of the annular outer side wall and configured to be non-inverted dimples when the lid is secured onto the container.

In an example method, a request is received for a health care item from a point of purchase of the health care item. Cost adjustment data is received from at least one source. The cost adjustment data is used to determine a cost modification for the health care item. The cost modification is communicated to a point of purchase of the health care item.

A lid for securing to the rim of a container, the lid including inverted dimples positioned along a top wall of the lid for engaging the rim of the container. The top wall includes one or more inverted dimples which reverse direction and pop up to project outwards and upwards from beyond the top wall of the lid when the lid is applied to the rim of a container. When all the dimples are raised, the lid is seated firmly on the container. The raised dimples provide both visual and tactile confirmation of a secure seal of the lid to the rim of a container.

The liquid level sensing device includes rotating electrically conductive probes and uses a self-cleaning rotary electrical connection system with a contact stylus on a rotating conductive barrel, for sensing a liquid level in a dispensing container of an aircraft galley insert. The probes, pivot arms of the probes, rotating drum and stylus may have an exterior surface formed of an electrically conductive, corrosion resistant material.

An apparatus and method for providing a bridge between tangible media and computer media. A bridge server computer system includes a database and a server control program. A client computer system includes a bridge control program and an input device adapted to receive a bridge code associated with a tangible media object. The bridge server computer system and the client computer system are coupled by a communications channel. The bridge control program is operative to send the bridge code from the client computer system to the bridge server and the server control program is operative to query the database based on the bridge code and execute action commands contained in the database in correspondence to the bridge code.
