The invention relates to a pile guide comprising a base frame and a guide member for guiding a pile as it is driven into a substrate, the guide member comprising a plurality of guide parts that are movable between an operative position for supporting the pile and an inoperative position. The pile guide comprises a mechanism that couples the guide parts such that movement of a guide part towards the operative position results in movement of at least one other guide part towards the operative position.

Pile guide comprising a base frame and a guide member

A pile guide is provided comprising a base frame and a superstructure comprising a pile guide member for guiding the pile as it is driven into a substrate when the base frame is resting thereon. At least part of the superstructure defines an arm that is rotational with respect to the base frame about a first and second points of rotation, to rotate the pile guide member with respect to the base frame. At least one of the first and second points of rotation is translatable with respect to the base frame in a first direction, thereby rotating the arm about the first and second points of rotation with respect to the base frame. At least one of the first and second points of rotation is translatable in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first and second points of rotation with respect to the base frame direction. A method is also provided.

Pile driving guide

A pile guide is provided comprising a base frame and a pile guide member for guiding the pile as it is driven into a substrate when the base frame is resting thereon. The pile guide member comprises plural guide parts each moveable between a operative position and an inoperative position, each guide part being pivotally mounted on the base frame. At least one guide part is operably coupled or couplable with an associated counterweight for opening of the guide member to its inoperative position under gravity, such that, at least in an inoperative position, at least part of the counterweight and the associated guide part are movable with respect to each other. In another aspect, at least one of the guide parts and/or at least one of the counterweights is detachably connected with the base frame and/or with each other. Methods are also provided.

A pile guide () for supporting a pile as it is driven into a substrate, comprising: a base frame () having a planar substrate-engaging surface () and a pile guide member () configured to guide a pile in a predetermined direction therethrough as it is driven into a substrate (), the pile guide member () being mounted on the base frame () via a plurality of support members () extending therebetween; characterised in that at least one of the plurality of support members () has an adjustable length, with length adjustment of the or each support member () enabling the predetermined direction to be varied relative to the planar substrate-engaging surface () of the base frame ().
