A method, system and product for utilizing prediction models of an environment. In one embodiment, using a model of an environment and based on a first scene of the environment, a predicted second scene of the environment is predicted. An observed second scene is obtained and compared to the predicted second scene. Based on the comparison between the predicted second scene and the observed second scene, an action is performed.

Utilizing prediction models of an environment

A secure mediator for coupling between one or more hosts and one or more consoles comprising one or more peripheral devices. the secure mediator comprises host side ports, each host side port is configured to be connected to a corresponding host, and console side ports, each console side port is configured to be connected to a corresponding peripheral device. The secure mediator comprises: a triggering circuitry; a timing/control circuitry; a setup circuitry; a switching circuitry; and the rest of the mediator circuitries, wherein the triggering circuitry, timing/control circuitry, setup circuitry, and switching circuitry are non-programable circuitries. The mediator has at least two stages: a security setup stage and a normal operation stage. The triggering circuitry is configured to monitor events and to signal these events to the timing/control circuitry in order to trigger a transfer between the security setup stage and the normal operation stage. The timing/control circuitry controls the execution of the security setup stage and transfers the mediator between the security setup stage and the normal operation stage. The setup circuitry performs one or more security functions in the security setup stage to enhance the cyber security of mediator. The switching circuitry, conditioned upon control from the timing/control circuitry, switches between the coupling of: (1) at least one of the host side ports with at least two of any one of (a) the setup circuitry; (b) the rest of the mediator circuitries; (c) one of the console side ports; (d) a null port, and (2) at least one of the console side ports with at least two of any one of (a) the setup circuitry; (b) the rest of the mediator circuitries; (c) one of the host side ports; (d) a null port.

Enhanced security apparatus for mediation between console peripheral devices and hosts

A mediator and a method for securing a mediator for coupling between one or more hosts and one or more consoles comprising one or more peripheral devices. The mediator is having at least three stages: (i) a security setup stage; (ii) a neutralization stage; and (iii) a normal operation stage. In the normal operation stage, the mediator couples between at least one of the one or more peripheral devices and at least one of the one or more peripheral devices. In the neutralization stage the mediator disable coupling between at least one of the one or more peripheral devices and at least one of the one or more peripheral devices. The securing method starts with the security setup stage after at least one of (a) a power-up; (b) a reset; (c) a device connection; and (d) an unlock command. Upon entering the security setup stage, the method performs the following: (1) reading the device information of the one or more peripheral devices; (2) if the mediator is in Unlock state, waiting for a locking command and upon locking command arrival, register the information of the one or more peripheral devices to non-volatile memory, and proceed to normal operation stage, (3) if the mediator is in Lock state, compare the registered information of the one or more peripheral devices with the information read previously, and upon a match proceed to normal operation stage and upon a miss-match proceed to neutralization stage. The lock and unlock commands are provided from an authorized user or an administrator.

Security method and apparatus for locking of mediators between console peripheral devices and hosts

A wireless communication system comprising a smartphone comprising antenna system, and an add-on device that is configured to be attached to the smartphone, wherein, the add-on device comprises, a wireless communication module configured to transmit and receive RF communication signals, and an antenna coupling system that couples between the wireless communication module and the smartphone's antenna system in order to at least transmit or receive the RF communication signals by the smartphone's antenna system, the antenna coupling system couples the RF communication signals by at least one of or the combination of (a) conduction with the enclosure of the smartphone, and (b) induction between the add-on device and the smartphone.

An apparatus and a method of fabricating an apparatus for piercing an object, the apparatus comprises: a substrate; one or more needles; one or more anchors and one or more piezoelectric actuators. The method comprises the steps of deposit sacrificial layer over the substrate; deposit conducting layer over the sacrificial layer; deposit piezoelectric layer over the conducting layer; etch a geometry of the one or more piezoelectric actuators using a first mask created by lithography process; deposit the one or more needle and one or more anchors using a second mask created by lithography process and a lift-off process; etch the sacrificial layer under the needle and the one or more piezoelectric actuators, wherein the anchors are configured to connect the substrate to the piezoelectric actuators and the one or more piezoelectric actuators are configured to expand, contract or bend, and form holding arms that are configured to move the one or more needles.

Piercing apparatus and a method of fabricating thereof

A first method comprising: predicting a scene of an environment using a model of the environment and based on a first scene of the environment obtained from sensors observing scenes of the environment; comparing the predicted scene with an observed scene from the sensors; and performing an action based on differences determined between the predicted scene and the observed scene. A second method comprising applying a vibration stimuli on an object via a computer-controlled component; obtaining a plurality of images depicting the object from a same viewpoint, captured during the application of the vibration stimuli. The second method further comprising comparing the plurality of images to detect changes occurring in response to the application of the vibration stimuli, which changes are attributed to a change of a location of a boundary of the object; and determining the boundary of the object based on the comparison.

System, method and product for utilizing prediction models of an environment

A linear or rotary step motor for moving an object comprising: one or more beam actuators; and one or more auxiliary actuators. Each beam actuator comprises: (a) a flexible beam; (b) two holders holding the flexible beam from the beam edges; and (c) an actuator for moving the said at least one holder in order to bent the beam toward the object or to pull the beam away from the object. The axillary actuators are connected to the one or more beam actuators. The beam actuators configured to grip or release the object, and the one or more beam actuators perform a movement step to the object by first grip the object by the one or more beam actuators then push the object by activating the auxiliary actuator.

Method and system of secure mediator for advanced displays

A medical device for treatment for overweight or obesity is presented. The medical device is attached or implanted in patient's target body organs, wherein in each one of the device attachments, or daily in the case of long continuous attachment, the device removes up to 100 grams of energy containing materials from the body. The medical device optionally contains needles or alternatively contains crawling worm-like arm. The energy containing materials may be fat cells, fatty acid molecules driven out from the fat cells or lipids or carbohydrates molecules such as glucose from the blood stream.

A thermal management system for an object comprising: a plurality of thermoelectric elements and electricity transport medium. Heat energy that is generated or absorbed by the object is converted by some of said thermoelectric elements to electrical energy. This energy is transferred to some other of said thermoelectric elements, working in heat pumping mode, in order to realize a desired thermal distribution over said object. The thermal management system optionally comprises a controller that controls the mode of operation of the thermoelectric elements. Each thermoelectric element in any portion of time is configured to be in one of (1) an electricity generation mode, (2) a heat pumping mode, (3) a heat flow blocking mode or (4) a heat flow transferring mode.

Thermoelectric thermal management system

The present invention provides a filter for separating particles and/or catalyzer for particle reaction in a fluid. The device comprising array of passageways fabricated on a die wherein the passageway size is controlled by actuators. The passageway size is monitored and the actuators controlling the passageway size are activated conditionally upon the passageway size monitoring. Using movable actuators the passageway can achieve passageway size that is less then the fabrication minimal resolution. Proper locating, setting and/or activation of the actuators create passageways that can perform filtration of particles, trapping of particles and catalyzing particles reaction.

A thermal management system for an object comprising: one or more thermoelectric elements, one or more light emitting sources, electricity transport medium; electrical energy storage, and a controller. Heat energy that is generated or absorbed by the object is converted by said thermoelectric element to electrical energy. A method of text entry for an electronic device comprising: receiving a sequence of keystrokes performed over a plurality of keys of a keyboard of the electronic device, wherein a single keystroke enters a single letter location in a word, and wherein the set of the keystrokes comprises a first set of keystrokes for single letter entries that select single letter in an alphabet and a second set of keystrokes for letter group entries that selects a group of possible letters from the alphabet for a single letter location; creating list of possible words the user intends to enter based on a priori database of words by searching in the word database words having letters that match the sequence of letter entries; and displaying the list of possible words to a user, receiving the user selection of a desired word and providing the selected word for further processing.
