A luminaire of the indirect lighting type includes an indirect light fixture amplification reflector system consisting of plural opposed compound asymmetric reflectors mounted on a common longitudinal axis and used in combination with each other to produce a uniformly enlarged singular light distribution pattern when directed towards a secondary reflective surface such as the ceiling of an interior room cavity. The reflector functions to distribute the light pattern in a primarily outward rather than upward manner thereby reducing the number of luminaries required for efficient illumination. The reflector shape prevents direct exposure of the lamp source to the secondary surface thereby decreasing the mounting distance required between the luminaire and the secondary surface being illuminated, as well as providing for a more even illumination and the widest possible spacing ratio between luminaries. The reflector system may be housed in a reflector enclosure which functions as a secondary diffuse reflector on both its interior and exterior surfaces.

Indirect light fixture amplification reflector system

A plural component air spray gun is characterized by a spray head assembly that has a pair of hemispherically shaped fluid outlet orifices, the straight sides of which are facing, parallel and separated by a relatively thin wall. Each orifice receives a respective one of two liquid materials delivered through associated liquid supply passages, and the passages are inclined so that streams of liquid emitted from the orifices come together a short distance beyond the orifices. Air emitted from an atomizing air orifice surrounding the two fluid orifices mixes and breaks up the liquid material streams into an atomized conical spray. To form the conical spray into a fan-shaped pattern, an air cap directs air jets against opposite sides of the spray.

Plural component air spray gun and method

A system and device for adding dry media to a liquid stream or fan-shaped spray of paint or other suitable liquid material emerging from a spray gun. The dry media are added to the liquid stream by connecting a nozzle spray guard having hose connectors with injectors on opposite sides of the guard. The injection jets are constructed to add dry media at between 45 degrees and 90 degrees to the liquid stream exiting the nozzle of the spray gun. Wing-like appendages on the nozzle guard assist in containing the granular material in the path to impinge on the liquid stream. The liquid stream containing the uniformly mixed dry media or granular material is sprayed on the surface to which it is being applied.

Dry media injection system and device

A reflective bead dispenser for use with an airless paint spray gun for marking traffic lines on pavement surfaces is connected to the spray gun by supporting a hollow tube in a passage through a handle of the gun. An inlet end to the tube is connected with a supply of reflective beads, an outlet end from the tube has a nozzle for dispensing reflective beads into a spray of paint emitted from the gun, and a valve controls a flow of beads through the tube. The beads are entrained in the paint spray and deposited along with the paint on the pavement surface to form a reflective stripe thereon.

A reversible airless nozzle for a spray gun comprises an adapter mounted on a forward end of the gun, a filter in the adapter and an airless spray tip captured between the adapter and a safety cap. Should a small outlet orifice from the spray tip become plugged, it may be cleared by inserting the spray tip into the forward end of the adapter in the direction reverse to that for normal spraying, and then briefly triggering the spray gun to eject the blockage. The spray tip is carried in a housing adapted for a snug fit into the forward end of the adapter during cleaning, and an insert in the housing prevents the spray tip from being forced from the housing when reverse hydraulic pressures are applied.

Reversible airless spray nozzle

A portable, rigid carrier for ice skates comprises an upright wall having two lateral panels and narrow front and rear sides, each side being provided with a central longitudinal slit adapted for insertion of an ice skate blade. An ice skate fastened to a shoe is held in a fixed position in the carrier by means of a spring-loaded locking means cooperating with an adjustment means, both means being located between the two lateral panels. There is also described a carrier comprising a pair of spaced upright walls joined by transverse spacers and provided with registering apertures in the walls. A bag disposed between said walls is included for convenient storage and removal of articles needed by a skater.
