A collapsible portable stove may include a chassis, side tables, a shelf assembly, leg assemblies, a fuel delivery system, a burner system, a windscreen assembly, and a hoist assembly. The side tables may slide outward to reveal the burner system and provide workspace. The shelf assembly may attach to an underside of the chassis for storage, to a topside of the chassis between the outward-slid side tables for table space, or beneath the chassis between the leg assemblies for shelf space. The leg assemblies may fold for storage and unfold to raise the stove to a low- or high-profile. In a collapsed position, the stove and its self-contained components resemble a rectangular suitcase. The stove may be expanded from the collapsed position to several possible configurations, optionally having high- or low-profiles, exposed and/or covered burners, side tables, a hoist assembly, and a middle shelf or a middle table.

A portable heater assembly includes a fan module, an electrical ignition assembly, a heating apparatus, and an encasement. The encasement supports and houses the fan module, the electrical ignition assembly, and the heating apparatus. The fan module includes a fan, an electric switch, and electrical wiring, the electrical wiring interconnecting the fan, electric switch and a power source. The electric switch activates the fan by forming a closed electrical circuit within the electrical wiring between the power source and the fan. The electrical ignition assembly includes an electrical ignition device, a spark-emitting electrode tip protruding from the electrical ignition device, and an ignition activator connected to the electrical ignition device by an activator connector. The heating apparatus includes a combustion chamber having a catalyst-containing substrate in proximity to the spark-emitting electrode tip, an air-fuel mixer connected to the combustion chamber, and regulator valve assembly connecting the air-fuel mixer to a source of fuel. The air-fuel mixer provides a uniform mixture of fuel and primary air that is ignited by the spark-emitting electrode tip for combustion in the combustion chamber. The use of primary air improves efficiency and reduces the reliance on secondary air. Limiting the proportion of primary air to approximately 15-20% of the stoichiometric mass of air required substantially reduces the emission of hazardous combustion by-products such as carbon monoxide.

Each removable cartridge contains a number of relatively small tool blades that are preferably selected by functional categories. Various cartridge hold-down and removal mechanisms are also provided.

The fireplace grill features dual purpose legs which are inverted to snap over a lid holding the entire unit together for compact storage and transport. Under normal operating condition, the legs are inverted and are deployed downwardly and outwardly to raise the fireplace above the ground.

A portable, outdoor cooking apparatus is provided which is capable of operating as both a stove and a barbecue grill. The cooking apparatus includes an elongated burner tube and a pivoting parabolic-shaped heat diffuser which can be rotated between an upright position in which the concave surface of the heat diffuser covers the burner tube for barbecue cooking and an inverted position in which the heat diffuser leaves the burner tube exposed directly to the cooking surface for stove cooking.
