A sexual stimulation device includes an elongated dildo housing sized to be received within an orifice of a human body, the housing defining an internal cavity extending along a longitudinal axis of the housing, a mass laterally constrained within the cavity and movable linearly along the cavity, and an electrically driven actuator disposed within the housing and operably coupled to the mass. The actuator is operable to accelerate the mass along the cavity and to thereby induce a longitudinal reactive acceleration of the housing.

Sexual stimulation devices and methods

A method of interpreting keypad input includes identifying a first letter of a target word from activation of an initial key, identifying a set of possible intermediate letters of the target word in response to non-activating traversal of associated keys of the keypad following activation of the initial key, identifying a last letter of the target word from activation of a final key following the non-activating traversal, and then determining the target word based upon the identified first, intermediate and last letters. The method is particularly useful in key input devices sensitive to non-activating finger position above the keys.

A touch-sensitive input device has an exposed, continuous surface defining a planar area, and a grid of sense elements coextensive with the area of the exposed surface and responsive to engagement of the exposed surface by an operator to establish a position of said engagement of the exposed surface. The exposed surface varies in elevation across its planar area to form a series of tactile features. The exposed, continuous surface is affixed to the grid of sense elements. An electronic circuit is configured to interpret large-scale capacitance variations of the grid as an intended input from the operator in a region identified by the capacitance variation, and to interpret small-scale capacitance variations of the grid as a position of engagement of the exposed surface by the operator.

Input devices and their use

As a user is drafting an electronic document (e.g., a word processing document, spreadsheet, etc.), the user may enter a predefined string of characters that represents a placeholder for information which is to be inserted into the document. A computerized system recognizes the predefined string of characters and, in response, automatically opens a messaging window that permits the user to request the information from one or more recipients. The message may include a portion of the electronic document surrounding the predefined string of characters to provide context for the recipients. A recipient can edit the context provided in the message to provide the requested information and transmit the message back to the user. If the user approves the edit made by the recipient, the computerized system may be configured to automatically integrate the edit into the electronic document.

Active messaging system and method

A keypad has keys () protruding through a housing () with at least one at-a-distance sensor () located approximately equidistant between each adjacent set of keys (). Each key () has a tactile feedback element () located below and a primary graphic () displayed above. Graphics identifying additional functionality () are disposed off-center to primary graphic (). Locator nubs () are located approximately equidistant between each adjacent set of keys ().

Keypads with multi-function keys

An IACK keypad with independent key regions arranged in an array of multiple rows and columns, and combination key regions defined between rows and columns of the array of independent key regions. A trace matrix underlying the keymat either includes, in addition to normally isolated column traces and row traces underlying the independent key regions, trace extensions extending from the row and column traces to underlie the combination key regions, or additional row and column traces underlying the combination key regions and tied to other row and column traces. The trace extensions extend to within a contact region of an opposed electrical contact, such as on a snap dome, beneath the combination key region. Independent and combination key snap domes are constructed to insure singular tactile feedback during combination key operation.

Keypad construction

A predominantly solid, phallus-shaped, semi-rigid device with an internal mechanism that expands designated surface regions outwardly to change the shape of the device. A fluid filled reservoir located at one end of the device expresses fluid through internal channels, causing the resilient expansion at specified surface regions due to a locally reduced cross section. Keyboards with both individual and combination key output

A keypad with both elevated and non-elevated key regions, and key switches disposed beneath both types of key regions. The non-elevated key regions each provide corresponding character output based on an operation algorithm that considers activation of at least one adjacent elevated key region as well as activation of the switch below the non-elevated key region. The keypad includes a keymat that is rigidly held at its perimeter in a stretched condition across a switch substrate. The key switches include metal snap domes that have an elevated central region forming a downwardly facing cavity defined at its edge by a ridge disposed above the switch contacts that electrically engages multiple switch contacts in an annular contact zone.

Keypads and key switches

A changeable tattoo system with an electrically modifiable ink that includes biocompatible microspheres or particles encapsulated in a clear microsphere shell of diameter 30-150 microns. A hard overcoat is used to reduce deformation under loading from the skin. Tattoos are implanted with a novel tattoo needle with a flat or concave forward tip. A conformable set of drive electrodes is applied to the skin to manipulate the tattoo image using magnetic or electrophoretic techniques that include the use of an electrophetic backplane of the body's core capacitence. A capactive coupling electrode is used to establish this connection. Greyscale and color gradient images are created by calibrating the system before use and pulsing EM fields.
