A bat, which has a hollow barrel and an internal assembly configured to resist deformation of the hollow barrel, is disclosed. The internal assembly includes a rod disposed longitudinally in the hollow barrel, a ring attached to the rod, a deformable sleeve disposed around the ring and extending longitudinally in the hollow barrel. The sleeve can include an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the hollow barrel. The bat can include an end cap attached to an end of the hollow barrel and having a recess configured to receive an end of the rod. The rod can be configured to maintain the deformable sleeve in a predetermined suspended position within the hollow barrel such that, when the bat is at rest, the sleeve is disposed a predetermined gap distance from an inner surface of the hollow barrel.

A golf club head can comprise a hollow body comprising a shell defining at least some of an exterior surface of the golf club head, and the hollow body can include a ball-striking face, a crown, a hosel, a sole, and a rear end opposite the ball-striking face. A recess can be located on the sole and can extend toward an interior of the hollow body. An opening can be located within the recess and can be defined by one or more sidewalls. A weighted insert can insert into the recess and the opening and can comprise a first end, a second end, and a middle portion disposed therebetween. The first end can extend outwardly from the middle portion in a toe-to-heel direction and the second end can extend outwardly from the middle portion in a heel-to-toe direction. A weight can be disposed within the weighted insert.

A golf club head of the wood-type, including a body having a ball-striking face and a sole, is disclosed. The sole can include a wave slot for adding additional weight to the golf club head and for providing improved performance. The wave slot can include a front sidewall, a rear sidewall, and at least two waves. The waves can be positioned between the front and rear sidewalls and can each include a valley portion at the lowest point of the wave such that the valley portion does not protrude below the sole.

A bat, which has a hollow barrel and an internal assembly configured to resist deformation of the hollow barrel, is disclosed. The internal assembly includes multiple rods disposed longitudinally within the hollow barrel. The internal assembly can include a deformable ring having a substantially circular outer wall having a diameter less than an inner diameter of the hollow barrel and multiple holes, with each hole configured to at least partially receive a rod of the multiple rods. The bat can have an end cap including end cap holes extending partially through the end cap, with each end cap hole configured to at least partially receive a rod.

A golf club head of the wood-type, including a body having a ball-striking face and a sole, is disclosed. The sole can include a wave slot for adding additional weight to the golf club head and for providing improved performance. The wave slot can include a front sidewall, a rear sidewall, and at least two waves. The wave slot can be open-ended. The waves can be positioned between the front and rear sidewalls and can each include a valley portion at the lowest point of the wave such that the valley portion does not protrude below the sole. The wave slot can also have two, three, or more waves, which can have heights that decrease as the position of the waves increases with respect to the ball-striking face.

A softball or baseball bat is provided. The bat can comprise a handle that has a proximate end and a distal end and a barrel that has a hollow portion. The bat can comprise first damping section that comprises a first material, and the first damping section can be at least partially interposed between a portion of the handle and a portion of an inner wall of the barrel. The bat can comprise a second damping section that can comprise a second material, and the second damping section can be at least partially interposed between a portion of the handle and a portion of the inner wall of the barrel. At least a portion of the first damping section or the second damping section can prevent the handle from directly contacting the barrel when the bat is at rest.

An adjustable golf club head and weight structure is disclosed. The adjustable golf club head can include a crown, a toe, a hosel, and a sole. The sole of the club head may have one or more tracks located thereon. Each of the one or more tracks can have one or more weights secured therein. Each of the one or more weights can include an upper weight portion, and a lower weight portion. A screw can be positioned to adjoin the upper weight portion and the lower weight portion. The weight can also include a clip fastened to the screw such that the clip retains the screw within bores located in the upper and lower weight portions. In order to prevent the upper and lower weight portions from rotating with respect to one another, the weight can include an alignment portion and an alignment receptacle.

An adjustable golf club is disclosed. The adjustable golf club can include a club head having a sole. The sole of the club head may have two or more tracks located thereon. Each track can be configured to receive at least one weight. The two or more tracks may be three tracks. The three tracks can comprise an elongated central track, a first short track disposed on a first side of the elongated central track, and a second short track disposed on the second side of the elongated central track.

Multi-track adjustable golf club

An adjustable golf club is disclosed. The club can be adjusted by moving one or more sliders located proximate the heel of the club. The sliders can move to enable the loft and lie of the club to be adjusted independently. To adjust the club, a user can loosen a fastener, reposition the sliders, and re-tighten the fastener. The one or more sliders can slide against a spherical surface with its origin at the center of rotation of the shaft. In this configuration, when the sliders are pressed against the spherical surface, the spherical surface can enable the club to remain properly adjusted.
