Oil filters used in automotive vehicles come in different sizes and may be located at varying positions on the engine which differ in terms of ease of access. Due to such variability, multiple specialized tools have typically been required to remove installed oil filters from automotive engines, including various sized pliers, straps, bands and the like, the selection of the tool depending on the location and size of the oil filter, and the angle of approach required. An oil filter removal tool is now provided which has at least two sets of opposing gripping regions, the two sets being in perpendicular orientation relative to each other. Advantageously, the oil filter removal tool may be used to approach and grasp the oil filter from an axial or radial direction, and may be used with different sizes of oil filters.

According to some embodiments, there is provided a wheel storage apparatus comprising a frame having a loading platform, a wheel supporting platform and a handle section. When the wheel storage apparatus is in a first orientation, the loading platform is generally parallel with and at a loading height from a loading surface and configured to cradle a plurality of wheels about a circumferential portion of each wheel. The wheel supporting platform is coupled to a first end of the loading platform and configured to support the wheels in a stacked configuration when the wheel storage apparatus is in a second orientation. The wheel storage apparatus is configured to rotate from the first orientation to the storage orientation about a pivot axis proximate the first end of the loading platform. Systems and methods are provided for delivering images to a patient before and/or during a medical procedure in which a patient is translated on a table relative to a gantry. In various example embodiments, images are projected to the patient while preserving the projected field size during table motion, thereby potentially reducing patient anxiety by providing a more immersive patient viewing experience. In some embodiments, the projected field size is maintained by a display system that is secured to the table such that both a projector and a projection screen are fixed relative to the table, and relative to the patient, during translation of the table. In some example embodiments, a reduction in patient anxiety may be achieved by projecting images as virtual images that are perceived by the patient as residing at a depth that lies beyond the confined spatial region in which the patient resides.

The present disclosure provides communication systems and devices for use in noise environments, such as during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In some embodiments, a communication headrest is provided that consists of a headrest that supports a patients' head, an optional bone conduction microphone, and one or more vibration actuators. The headset makes contact with noise-isolating earplugs worn by the subject such that vibrations generated by the vibration actuators are transferred through the earplug, via acoustic conduction, to enable the patient to hear audio content while the earplugs provide passive noise protection by occluding the ear canal. In other embodiments, active earplug devices are provided in which an acoustic transducer is contacted and supported by a noise isolating earplug, such that when the earplug is inserted into the ear canal, the acoustic transducer is brought into acoustic conductive communication with tissue surrounding the ear canal, facilitating acoustic communication through bone conduction.
