Provided are beverage compositions comprising a urine citrate increasing component and a urine oxalate reducing component. The beverage compositions may be provided in a ready-to-drink form or may be provided in a concentrate form. Also provided are kits comprising the beverage compositions and methods for treating various conditions using the beverage compositions.

Citrate containing beverage

A prosthetic vascular graft with walls less than O.8B millimeters in thickness and formed of highly expanded polytetrafluoroethylene with a microscopic superstructure of nodes and interconnecting fibrils, which nodes are substantially uniformly separated by an average distance greater than a typical red cell. The superstructure of the graft controls transmural cellular ingrowth and assures the establishment and maintenance of a thin,viable neointima.

Prosthetic vascular graft

The specification teaches thromboresistant compositions made of suitable biologically compatible plastic materials and a substance having a negative charge, e.g., graphite, incorporated therein in the framework of the lattices of the plastic, for use in prosthetic vascular devices intended to be permanently grafted in body loci wherein use of a thromboresistant prosthetic is desirable. An exemplary combination is polytetrafluoroethylene and graphite made into suitable structures for use as prosthetic arteries, veins and heart valves is taught.

Graphite impregnated prosthetic vascular graft materials

A method of forming a vascular prosthetic structure, including steps of: mixing polytetrafluoroethylene resin with graphite powder to create a mixture; compacting the mixture to form a preform; extruding the preform to form an extrudate, expanding the extrudate to form an expanded structure having a plurality of irregularly spaced nodes interconnected by fibrils; and sintering the expanded structure to form the vascular prosthetic structure.
