A projection system includes a recessed projection fixture that includes a lighting module configured to emit a light and a projection module configured to project an image. The light emitted by the lighting module is used for projecting the image and for illumination. The projection system further includes a sensor, where the projection module projects the image in response to an occupancy detection by the sensor. The recessed projection fixture is oriented to direct the image toward a surface below the recessed projection fixture.

Image and light projection

A trim for a lighting fixture includes a trim structure, a processor disposed on the trim structure, and an interface electrically coupled to the processor. A power is provided to the processor from a power source of the lighting fixture via the interface.

Smart trims for recessed light fixtures

A projection fixture includes a lighting module that emits a light, and a projection module that projects an image. The projection fixture further includes a controller that controls operations of the lighting module and the projector module, where the light emitted by the lighting module is used for projecting the image and for illumination.

A system of projection fixtures includes a first projection fixture recessed in a ceiling, where the first projection fixture includes a first projector device. The system further includes a second projection fixture recessed in the ceiling, where the second projection fixture includes a second projector device. The first projector device is positioned to project a first image on a first surface below the ceiling, and the second and projector device is positioned to project a second image on a second surface below the ceiling.

A lighting fixture includes a light emitting diode (LED) light source, a clock module, and a controller configured to control one or more characteristics of a light emitted by the LED light source based on time information received from the clock module. The controller is further configured to determine a current time of a day from the time information received from the clock module.
