Racks for operation in a data center, robots for use with racks of a data center, and methods of removing sleds from, and inserting sleds into, racks of a data center are disclosed herein. A rack includes a plurality of sled spaces and a plurality of sleds. Each sled is mounted in a corresponding sled space such that the plurality of sleds are spaced from one another in a vertical direction. A robot is configured to interface with any of the plurality of sleds mounted in the sled spaces.

Technologies for automated servicing of sleds of a data center

A method is provided for forming a wireless charging electronic device. An embodiment of the method includes integrating a coil and a collector plate to a chassis of the electronic device to wirelessly charge the electronic device.

Apparatuses, methods and storage medium associated with providing use input are disclosed herein. In embodiments, an apparatus may include a capacitive touch sense module having a center region and a plurality of arms extending away from the center region in a plurality of directions. The arms may include a first arm extending away from the center region in a first direction, and a second arm extending away from the center region in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The apparatus may further include one or more pairs of springs, including a first pair of springs disposed at respective edges of an undersurface of the first and second arms to allow the capacitive touch sense module to pivot between the first and second directions. A lighting module may comprise a housing, a window frame mounted at a front side of the housing, a window mounted at a front plane of the window frame, the window comprising a window front face spanning a front plane length and first and second window sidewalls extending rearwards from first and second edges of the window front face, and an array of light-emitting elements within the housing, the array aligned with and emitting light through a window front plane and through the first and second window sidewalls.

A lighting module has a housing that houses an array of light-emitting elements and has multiple channels that each have an opening at the end of each channel. All of the openings of the channels are positioned along the same plane in some examples. The plane is opposite the surface of the housing that emits the light from the light-emitting elements. An intake fan is positioned in at least one of the channels so that it causes air to enter the housing through that channel's opening. An exhaust fan is positioned in another one of the channels so that it causes air to be forced out of the housing through the other channel's opening. The air flow through the intake channel and the exhaust channel help cool the lighting module during use.

Lamp ventilation system

Lighting modules include a housing, a window attached to the housing, and an array of light-emitting elements that are positioned within the housing and emit light through the window. The window has a first surface and a second surface. The light from the array of light-emitting elements is emitted through the first surface and the second surface of the window. In some examples, the first surface and the second surface of the window are angled with respect to each other.

A lamp module for an image projector includes a lamp assembly connected to a lamp frame by a retainer clip having three-point snap connection to the lamp frame. The retainer clip is made of sheet metal and includes a central opening that receives the lamp assembly to form a sub-assembly that snaps into the lamp frame. The lamp frame includes two upstanding posts each having a shoulder that snaps into an associated opening in the retainer clip. The retainer clip further includes a lip that snaps over the front face of the lamp frame to securely connect the lamp assembly to the lamp frame.

A high-speed, low-profile logic analyzer test probe has a body of insulating material molded directly onto a narrow elongate substrate having electrical circuitry disposed thereon. The molded insulating material has a notch formed therein for exposing a conductive surface formed on the substrate. The exposed conductive surface is used for making a ground connection between the substrate and the ground of a device under test. The probe may be adapted for use in probe holder for multichannel probing wherein the probe holder has an electrically conductive chip disposed within the probe holder housing for providing the shortest possible ground connections between the ground pins on the device under test and the ground connections on the probes.

High-speed, low-profile test probe

A connection apparatus for interactively accessing over signal paths of minimum length the signals by which an electronic device with a large number of pins communicates with its environment through a pin grid array socket includes two printed circuit boards, each having a pin grid array socket or a plurality of individual receptacles for pins arranged in a pin grid array pattern, stacked vertically with their pin grid arrays vertically aligned. Each of these circuit boards has a receptacle side on top and a partial array of associated pins on the bottom. The total number of locations in these pin grid arrays exceeds the number of pins on the device, so that signals may be interrupted by the absence of a pin on the bottom of the top board, rerouted for interactive monitoring, sent to the bottom board by a pin in a location not used by the electronic device, and rerouted back to its original location in the pin grid array by runs on the bottom board so that it may be presented to a pin grid array socket in the device's environment by a pin in that location on the bottom of the bottom board. Circuitry for manipulating or emulating the interrupted signals can be placed on the top board where it is very close to the electronic device.

A strain relief system for flexible circuits has a tapered cover laminate affixed to either side of the flexible circuit to form a cover laminate/flexible circuit assembly, with the widest portion of the cover laminate being at the point of maximum bending stress of the flexible circuit to provide a stiffer assembly at that point. A rigid stiffener having a bending radius also is affixed to either side of the cover laminate/flexible circuit assembly at the point of maximum bending stress to provide strain relief, the bending radii being laterally offset from each other so that bending in opposite directions occurs at different locations of the flexible circuit. The result is a gentle, low stress bend in the flexible circuit when subjected to regular bending.

A probe cable assembly for use in connecting a monitoring instrument to an electronic SUT, to analyze the interaction between the system and a multiple terminal electronic component which can be fitted in a receptacle of the system, comprises a flexible circuit cable having an instrument end and a probe end. The cable comprises at least a first group of conductors that terminate at the probe end of the cable in respective termination areas in a predetermined array. The termination areas are exposed to one side of the cable and form respective terminals for the conductors. The cable assembly also comprises a stiffening element attached to the cable at its probe end at the opposite side of the cable. The stiffening element is capable of fitting in the receptacle of the SUT. When the stiffening element is fitted in the receptacle of the SUT, the termination areas of the conductors make direct pressure contact with the terminals in the receptacle of the SUT.

Probe cable assembly

A probe cable assembly for use in connecting a monitoring instrument to an electronic system under test comprises a sheet form cable having an instrument end, a probe end and an auxiliary interconnect end. A probe element having a plurality of terminals is secured to the cable at the probe end thereof and is capable of fitting in a multiple terminal receptacle of the system under test. An auxiliary receptacle capable of receiving a multiple terminal electronic component from the system under test and having a plurality of terminals is also secured to the cable. A first group of conductors of the cable extends between the instrument end of the cable and the auxiliary interconnect end and terminates at the auxiliary interconnect end in an array corresponding to the arrangement of the terminals of the auxiliary receptacle. A second group of conductors extends between the terminals of the auxiliary receptacle and corresponding terminals of said probe element. The cable is folded to bring the terminations of the first group of conductors into registry with the terminals of the auxiliary receptacle so that conductors of the first group are connected both to predetermined terminals of the auxiliary receptacle and to corresponding terminals of the probe element.
