The invention provides a compression device for the limb of a mobile patient. The device includes an inflatable sleeve adapted to surround the limb; a conduit attached to the sleeve for delivering fluid to the sleeve; and a portable, wearable controller attached to the conduit that generates and controls the flow of fluid in the device.

Compression device for the limb

A sock suitable for wearing on a limb of a patient, the sock comprising material having the ability to wick moisture away from the skin surface and the sock comprising padding located in those areas of the sock which in use will cover the ankle and shin of the patient.

Relating to socks

A compression device for a limb of a patient comprises an inflatable sleeve arranged to surround the limb and a conduit attached to the sleeve arranged to deliver fluid to the sleeve. The compression device also comprises a control system arranged to control fluid flow in the device and a memory arranged to store gathered data relating to use of the device.
