A feed horn with a horn body and a waveguide body, each with a front end and a back end, respectively. The horn body and the waveguide body coupled together, the waveguide body front end to the horn body back end. The waveguide body provided with a waveguide bore between the front end and the back end. At least one slot formed in the waveguide bore parallel to a longitudinal axis of the body bore, the at least one slot extending to the front end. The horn body provided with a horn bore between the front end and the back end. The horn body and the waveguide body formable via injection molding methods such as die casting.

Cross-polar compensating feed horn and method of manufacture

A multi-band reflector antenna having a main reflector, a sub reflector, a first feed and a second feed. The first feed, the sub reflector and the main reflector positioned in a Gregorian optic configuration wherein an output of the first feed is directed to the sub reflector, from the sub reflector to the main reflector and from the main reflector into a first beam. The sub reflector may be shaped to distribute the output of the first feed reflecting off the sub reflector onto the main reflector whereby a central area of the main reflector has a lower illumination than a surrounding outer area of the main reflector and or elongated vertically. The second feed projecting from a hole in the sub reflector is oriented whereby an output of the second feed is directed to the main reflector and from the main reflector into a second beam.

Co-located multi-band antenna

A method and apparatus are provided for transceiving signals. The method includes the steps of providing a secondary reflector within a focal region of a main reflector in a relative spatial relationship where a first radio frequency signal processed by a first radio frequency radiator adjacent the secondary reflector is reflected from both the secondary and main reflectors and providing a second radio frequency radiator in a aperture of the secondary reflector so that a second radio frequency signal processed by the second radio frequency transceiver is reflected from the main antenna along a path that is substantially coaxial with the first radio frequency signal.
