An aircraft () having an airframe () extending along an anteroposterior plane of symmetry (P) in elevation transversely separating a first side () of said aircraft () from a second side () thereof, said aircraft () being provided with hoist means () including a winch () provided with a drum for winding a hoist cable (), said hoist means () including a beam () for guiding said cable, said beam () extending from a first end () constituting an inlet end for said cable () to a second end () constituting an outlet end for said cable (). A fastener device () provided with attachment means () for attaching an external load () and with fastener means () provided with a support beam () and with anchor means () for anchoring said support beam (). A first mechanical coupling () connects said support beam () to the anchor means () so as to enable the support beam () to pivot about a first pivot axis (AX). In addition, coupling means () are hinged to the support beam () so as to make pivoting possible about a second pivot axis (AX), the attachment means () being hinged to the coupling means () to make pivoting possible about a third pivot axis (AX). The present invention relates to a removable support () for optional equipment () on an aircraft (). The support () comprises an elongate beam () fitted with at least one attachment point for a piece of equipment and extending from a first end portion () to a second end portion (), and the support () is provided with first fastener means () provided with a first fastener arm () connected to a first link arm () that is releasably fastened to the first end portion (), and with second fastener means () provided with a second fastener arm () connected to a second link arm () that is releasably fastened to the second end portion (), a first support rod () also connecting the first fastener arm () to the first link arm (), and a second support rod () also connecting the second fastener arm () to the second link arm ().
