Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are described for providing machine-learning assistance to a user who may be visually-impaired in the form of cognitive snapshots taken of an environment. The visually-impaired user can be guided by a user application executing on a user device to position the user device to capture an image of a desired portion of an environment. Object recognition processing is performed on the captured image to identify objects present in the environment. An audible listing of the identified objects can be presented to the user. A delta between objects identified across different snapshots can be determined and an indication thereof can be presented to the user. The user application can guide the user towards a particular desired object by outputting an audible or haptic signal that increases in intensity as the user scans the user device towards a location of the object in the environment.

Cognitive snapshots for visually-impaired users

A cognitive meeting assistant facility is provided for assisting a moderator in an online meeting. The cognitive meeting assistant facility automatically categorizes chat questions of participants of the online meeting based on content into multiple categories of chat questions. One or more categories of chat questions of the multiple categories of chat questions include multiple questions of different participants of the online meeting. Further, the cognitive meeting assistant facility deploys the multiple categories of chat questions for display to the participants of the online meeting. The deploying includes, for each category of the at least one category of chat questions, providing a category-applicable answer for display to the participants of the online meeting in association with that category of chat questions.

Website security tracking is provided which includes, for instance, collecting, by a processor, event-specific information related to a suspicious event at a website. The collecting includes executing at least one security tracking module integrated into website code of the website to store the event-specific information. The website is one website of multiple websites of a network. The tracking method also includes providing by the website an indication of the suspicious event and the collected event-specific information to an analytics system external to the website. The analytics system is to receive indications of any suspicious events from the multiple websites and determine, based at least in in part on collected event-specific information related to the suspicious events, a confidence level of whether the suspicious event is part of a common security attack on the network.
