A valve operator assembly may include a housing, a yoke, and one or more stoppers. The housing is mountable on a valve, and includes a body having a sidewall including a shaft bore, to receive a shaft rotatable within the housing, and a cover having a top member mountable on a top portion of the body and a side portion extending downwards adjacent to and partially overlapping the sidewall. The yoke is operably coupled by a yoke nut to the shaft to impart rotation to a valve stem of the valve when the shaft is rotated. The one or more stoppers are disposed within the housing to restrict the linear motion of the yoke nut.

A luminaire system is provided that has directional light projection optics combined with a light distribution modifier to produce a non-uniform angular light intensity distribution from a single or array of light sources. The luminaire system provides for light intensity distribution with directional asymmetry meeting the specifications and requirements of aviation obstruction lights. The light distribution modifier component or subassembly redirects, scatters, refracts, diffracts and/or blocks part of the projection light in the distribution of the primary optics that would otherwise produce ground scatter. Unlike peripheral light shields at the marginal limits of the light distribution from the luminaire light system, the light distribution modifier is located near to the optical axis of the projection optics system.

Provided is a lamp configured for both indoor use and outdoor use. The lamp may include several features to protect against conditions encountered during outdoor use, such as wind, precipitation, lack of external power, etc. The lamp also defines an aesthetically pleasing design to provide lighting during upscale outdoor events/celebrations, such as weddings, reunions, holiday events, or a private gathering in a backyard. The functional and aesthetic features of the lamp, such as the lamp's capability of operating independent of a power cord while at the same time defining a stylish appearance, may additionally make the lamp desirable for use in indoor environments.

A magnet keeper-shield assembly adapted to hold and store a permanent magnet used to generate a high gradient magnetic field that, in one embodiment, may penetrate into deep targeted tumor sites in order to attract magnetically responsive micro-carriers. The magnet keeper-shield assembly includes a magnetically permeable keeper-shield with a bore dimensioned to hold the magnet. A lever mechanism is used to push the magnet partially out of the keeper-shield. The actuator is assisted by several springs extending through the base of the keeper-shield.

An endotracheal tape for adhesively securing an endotracheal tube in position is disclosed. The tape consists of a single piece of 1 inch wide tape having first and second opposite ends split into two identical sections. A single short, non-stick piece is centered along the length of the tape and the tape is rolled onto two plastic tubes from each of the first and second ends. To dispense the device, the tape is unrolled slightly from the tubes to expose the short non-stick piece and the piece is placed against the back of the patient's neck. The tape is then completely unrolled and the upper halves of the split ends are affixed above the patient's nose or mouth and the lower halves of the split ends are wrapped around an endotracheal tube.
