The present invention concerns a gasket assembly () for sealing between conduits passing through two respective bodies. The gasket assembly comprises a primary seal (), wherein the primary seal comprises a first sealing surface () adapted to form a seal with the first body of said respective bodies, and a second sealing surface () adapted to form a seal with the second body of said respective bodies. The primary seal is coupled to a primary seal carrier (), the primary seal carrier comprising one or more secondary seals (), the one or more secondary seals being adapted to form a seal with one or more of the first and second bodies.

Gasket assembly and seal carrier

A flow line connector assembly has first and second parts respectively comprising a plug, and a socket configured to receive the plug; a restraining device to resist disconnection of the first and second parts when the plug is received in the socket; and flow tubes, wherein each of the plug and the socket has a respective flow tube and the flow tubes are adapted to interconnect to form Ca conduit for fluid to flow between the first and second parts when the plug is received in the socket.

Flow line connector assembly

A connector is disclosed for connecting components of a subsea conduit system extending between a wellhead and a surface structure, for example, a riser system. Male and female components are provided, and a latching device to releasably latch the male and female components together when the two are engaged. The male and female components incorporate a main sealing device to seal the male and female components together to contain the high pressure wellbore fluids passing between them when the male and female components are engaged. The latching device also incorporates a second sealing device configured to contain fluids when the male and the female components are disengaged, so that during disconnection, any fluids escaping the inner conduit are contained.

Connector

A connector for connecting power or control systems infrastructure such as for example subsea infrastructure, said connector comprises a male component and a female component, the male and female components comprising cooperating mating surfaces and means for locking the male and female components together, the locking means being retractably mounted within one of the male or female components but extendible from that component into the other of the male or female components to lock the two components together against axial and rotational movement while providing a snag free release when the locking means is in the retracted position. The means for locking includes pivotal levers with free ends that are to enter recesses of the male component and that are to be held in locking position by a moveable control coupler. An electrical coupler located within the female component is to be raised to engage a corresponding coupler on the locked in position male component.

Subsea electrical connector

A subsea system for intervention or deployment comprising a spool () adapted for mounting subsea, a carrier () adapted for suspension from a surface vessel or platform, a guide line () wound on the spool, the free end of the guide line connected to the carrier and means () for driving the spool in one direction to pay out a length of guide line as the distance between the spool and the carrier is increased and in the other direction to reel in the length of guide line as the distance between the spool and the carrier decreases.

Subsea system

A connector () for connecting components of a subsea system, the connector comprising male and female components (), guide means () for assisting preliminary orientation of the male component within the female component and means () for drawing the male component into the female component and latch means () for securing the male component within the female component.

A connector for connecting a plurality of components having cooperating faces together. The connector includes a plurality of dogs for locking the cooperating faces of upper and lower conduits together. The plurality of dogs are movable between an open position and a locked position. A hydraulic piston moves the plurality of dogs into the locked position. The connector includes an annular collar that retains the plurality of dogs in the locked position once the hydraulic piston is withdrawn. When the annular collar is removed, the plurality of dogs return to an unlocked position thereby allowing separation of the cooperating faces without snagging of the plurality of components.

A method and apparatus for a drilling with casing includes therewith a drill shoe configured for later drilling through thereof in situ, with cutters retainable thereon in response to the forces encountered during borehole drilling, yet moveable from the envelope through which the later drill shoe will pass when cutting through the in situ drill shoe. The drill shoe includes one or more profiles thereon, into which blades carrying the formation drilling cutters are disposed. The profiles include at least one projection thereon, which is received within a mating slot in the blades. The blades also may be configured to have opposed sections which are configured with respect to one another to have an included angle of less than ninety degrees.
