A device for measuring the tension in a tensioning belt comprises a retaining device for retaining a spring element, an elastically deformable spring element that is retained by the retaining device and on which a section of the tensioning belt can apply a force and elastically deform the spring element, the ends of the spring element being moved closer to one another when the tensioning force increases, and an electronic sensor unit. The sensor unit comprises a sensor system that measures the deflection of the spring element and generates a data signal, and a transmitter for transmitting the data signal to a receiving unit. The sensor system is situated at the ends of the spring element. The sensor unit may also be used for documenting the measured values of the tension.

Device and method for documenting the tension in a tensioning belt

A ratcheted lashing strap assembly is described. The assembly is formed of a lashing strap and a tightening device. The tightening device has a frame and a winding drum, rotatable in the frame, for winding up the lashing strap. A fixation end of the lashing strap, in the form of a loop, grips a retention strut that is parallel to the winding drum and is firmly attached to the frame. An eye of the loop is penetrated by a support strut, extending approximately parallel to the retention strut, that as a separate component from the tightening device protrudes by both ends from the loop eyelet and on the side opposite the winding drum from the cinching side is braced on the frame on the retention strut and assumes a variable distance from the retention strut. An end run, adjoining a loop foot, of the lashing strap is fixed in clamping fashion by the support strut between the loop and the lashing strap to be cinched.

Ratcheted lashing strap assembly

A lashing strap comprises a webbing including warp threads extending in a warp direction and spaced with respect to one another in a direction transverse to the warp direction thereby defining warp spacings therebetween. The lashing strap further has an end loop region at one end thereof and a strap region adjacent the end loop region, the warp spacings in the end loop region being less than the warp spacings in the strap region such that the lashing strap tapers from the strap region to the end loop region.
