A method may include storing a vector space representation of a set of concepts in a semantic ontology, wherein locations of the set of concepts in the vector space are based on weights of a neural network trained using triples from the semantic ontology; presenting a semantic search user interface including: a text input portion to receive a search query from an input device; a suggested search portion; and a search results portion; receiving, from a user computing device, the search query; converting, using at least one processor, the search query into a vector; computing, using the at least one processor, a set of possible concepts related to the search query based on a distance between the vector and other concepts in the vector space representation; and presenting the set of possible concepts related to the search query in the suggested search portion of the semantic search user interface.

Semantic entity search using vector space

An enhanced modulation scheme for 5G and 6G is disclosed in which amplitude modulation includes a zero-power level, which is readily recognized by the receiver as a special demarcation. This can be used, for example, to unambiguously indicate the start and end of a message, such as a downlink control message, which receivers are generally stressed to detect. The zero-power level can be just one branch of a QAM symbol, or the entire symbol, in various embodiments. Advantageously, the enhanced modulation scheme increases the throughput due to the larger number of encoded states, yet requires no increase in transmission power. In some embodiments, the throughput is increased yet the transmission power is actually reduced, with no loss in SNR. Other aspects are disclosed.

Zero-power demarcation of message start and end in 5G and 6G

Many wireless receivers in 5G and 6G are expected to use DRX (discontinuous reception) to save power. What is lacking is an efficient procedure to inform the DRX users that they have an incoming message on hold at the base station. Therefore, a procedure is disclosed for the base station to assign each user device to a section and a position within that section. Then the base station can periodically broadcast a polling message including only those sections that have at least one waiting with a message on hold. In addition, each user device is assigned a single bit at a calculated position in the polling message, so that each DRX user can determine when it has a message on hold. In addition, the base station can assign an equally compact and efficient reply region for each ready user to request its message, thereby saving time and resources.

Resource-efficient polling method for delivering messages to 5G/6G users

A method may include presenting a user interface on a computing device, the user interface including: a service provider input element identifying a service provider; a service identifier input element identifying a service; and a graph presentation area; executing a knowledge graph database query using a combination of the service provider and the service as input to a knowledge graph database; receiving tuple results in response to the executing, the tuple results including an allocation value property of the service provider attributable to the service provider with respect to the service; and generating in the graph presentation area, an interactive graph based on the tuple results including: representations of entities including the service provider and the service in the tuple results as nodes in the interactive graph, wherein a representation of the service provider includes the allocation value; and links connecting the representations of entities.

User interfaces for data traversal of knowledge graphs

A method may include accessing a semantic map between a schema of a relational database (RDB) and a resource description framework (RDF) data model, the semantic map defined according to a first semantic ontology; applying the semantic map to data loaded from the RDB to generate a first set of semantic objects; storing the first set of semantic objects in a staging RDF triplestore; executing a script to transform the first set of semantic objects into a second set of semantic objects according to a second semantic ontology; and storing the second set of semantic objects into a production RDF triplestore.

A method may include accessing, using a processing unit, a source chain datafile formatted in a first format, the source chain datafile including data entries identifying linkages between a service provider, a service receiver, and a component provider, of an enterprise; forming, using the processing unit, initial knowledge graph tuples including subject, object, and predicate components based on the linkages; generating, using the processing unit, a staging knowledge graph storing the initial knowledge graph tuples; translating, using the processing unit, the initial knowledge graph tuples into production knowledge graph tuples according to a source chain knowledge graph schema; and storing, using the processing unit, the production knowledge graph tuples in a production knowledge graph.

Systems and methods for data translation of source data files

A method may include executing a knowledge graph database query to a knowledge graph database storing properties of entities; receiving a set of tuple results in response to the executing identifying a set of entities and a set of relationships that connect the set of entities in the knowledge graph database; presenting a UI including a graph presentation area that includes: graphical representations of the set of entities in the set of tuple results; and links connecting the representations of the entities according to the set of relationships; performing a classification validation test against the set of tuple results identifying classification properties for entities in a chain of related entities in the knowledge graph database; determining that the chain meets the classification properties for the entities in the chain in the classification validation test; and in response, updating a presentation style of the graphical representations of the set of entities.

A method may include presenting a user interface on a computing device, the user interface including: an input element configured to receive an input of a search concept; a similar concept selection element; and a concept comparison portion; executing a similarity search in a vector-space representation of a knowledge graph using the input; populating the similar concept selection element with a set of a similar concepts based on a result of the executed similarity search; receiving a selection of a comparison concept of the set of similar concepts from the similar concept selection element; generating a predicate comparison visualization in the concept comparison portion based on predicates in the knowledge graph of the comparison concept and the search concept; and presenting the predicate comparison visualization in the concept comparison portion.

Identity resolution in knowledge graph databases

A system and method to avoid collisions on highways, and to minimize the fatalities, injury, and damage when a collision is unavoidable. The system includes sensor means to detect other vehicles, and computing means to evaluate when a collision is imminent and to determine whether the collision is avoidable. If the collision is avoidable by a sequence of controlled accelerations and decelerations and steering, the system implements that sequence of actions automatically. If the collision is unavoidable, a different sequence is implemented to minimize the overall harm of the unavoidable collision. The system further includes indirect mitigation steps such as flashing the brake lights automatically. An optional post-collision strategy is implemented to prevent secondary collisions, particularly if the driver is incapacitated. Adjustment means enable the driver to set the type and timing of automatic interventions.

Systems and methods for hazard mitigation

A method may include presenting a user interface on a display device of a computing device, the user interface including: a search query input element; a plurality of graph type options; a graph level selection element; and a graph presentation area; receiving a search query inputted into the search query input element, the search query identifying a concept object in an ontology; retrieving data associated with the concept object from a graph database based on selections made in the graph type options and the graph level selection element, the data including a set of result objects related to the concept object; and rendering a hierarchical graph in the graph presentation area, the hierarchical graph illustrating the set of result objects and the concept object as interactive nodes.

User interfaces for database visualizations

For improved reception of PDCCH (physical downlink control channel) messages in 5G and 6G, each message can be preceded by a special demarcation, and optionally followed by another (preferably different) demarcation. For even better reception, the two demarcations may be configured as short-form demodulation references that exhibit two predetermined modulation levels of the modulation scheme, such as the maximum and minimum amplitude or phase levels. For optimal reception, one or both demarcations may be surrounded by gaps, consisting of a single resource element with no transmission. Downlink messages with such multi-functional demarcations may greatly simplify the task of user devices in receiving their control messages from the base station.

Combined downlink demarcations and demodulation references in 5G/6G

A base station can cause a multitude of user devices in a network to be synchronized with the base station's clock using an ultra-lean low-complexity procedure in 5G or 6G. On a predetermined interval, the base station can transmit a timing signal in the guard-space of a predetermined resource element. The timing signal is a 180-degree phase reversal of the cyclic prefix centered in the guard-space. Each user device can receive the timing signal, determine how far the received timestamp point is from the middle of the guard-space (as viewed by the user device), and thereby determine a timing error between the user device clock and the base station clock, and correct the user device clock accordingly. In addition, the user device can average the timing adjustments over a number of instances, thereby determining a frequency offset if the average differs significantly from zero, and thereby adjust the clock frequency.

Phase-shift guard-space timestamp point for 5G/6G synchronization

Currently, if a wireless device transmits a message but it is not received properly, the device is required to wait a variable time before retransmitting the message, and that waiting time is increased after each unsuccessful attempt. This is to reduce network congestion at high traffic rates, but it also puts certain users at an unfair disadvantage. For example, a user that has tried repeatedly to communicate is forced to wait longer and longer intervals, while another user is permitted to communicate without delay on the same channel. Clearly, this is an unfair situation. Therefore, disclosed herein is an alternate protocol in which users are given increasing priority after each failed attempt, specifically by reducing the fixed waiting time and/or a random backoff delay, before the next attempt. Simulations show that this change substantially eliminates the unfairness.

Wireless message scheduling for improved fairness

Beam alignment is a critical requirement in 5G-Advanced and 6G due to the high density of user devices anticipated in the coming years. However, prior-art beam alignment procedures are slow and costly in terms of resource usage. Therefore, disclosed herein are methods enabling a user device to determine the direction toward the base station rapidly at very low cost. The base station emits a tailored pulse with an angle-dependent phase, varying from a first phase at a first angle, to a second phase at a second angle, followed by a uniform-phase calibrator pulse. The user device can measure the as-received phase of the tailored pulse relative to the calibrator pulse, and thereby determine the user's direction relative to the base station. The user device can then inform the base station of the received phase, which is proportional to the angle. Both user and base station thereby obtain instant beam alignment.

Rapid, automatic directional beam alignment in 5G/6G networks

A method may include presenting a user interface, the user interface including: a graph presentation area; and a graph link type confirmation area; executing a knowledge graph database search query; in response to the executing, receiving a set of tuple objects corresponding to relationships between entities in the knowledge graph database; populating the graph presentation area with representations of the entities and links connecting the representations of the entities; populating the graph link type confirmation area with a selectable user interface element configured to confirm a relationship of the relationships between entities; receiving activation of the selectable user interface element; and in response to receiving the activation, updating the graph presentation area.
