An intake nozzle fits onto the suction hose of a vacuum pumper truck. The nozzle comprises a tubular housing and the rotor within the housing near the intake end. The rotor includes a hollow cylindrical canister and spiral vanes on its exterior. Ambient air enters an air tube, penetrates the side of the housing and supplies ambient air to the interior of the canister. The air exits through outlet ports into the liquid waste as it moves past under vacuum. The injected air reduces the density of the liquid waste, speeding up the pumping process and reducing the incidence of blockages.

Silicon oxide and electrically conductive doped silicon materials are sintered in a protective environment to yield a composite SiO:Si material that exhibits the properties of SiOx, and yet is electrically conductive due to the presence of Si. Such a composite material finds many uses, such as a target for DC and/or AC sputtering processes to produce silicon oxide thin films for touch-screen applications, barrier thin films in LCD displays and optical thin films used in a wide variety of applications.

An insulated welded wire structural building panel and a method for making such panels are disclosed. The panel has a plurality of parallel trusses joined together with cross wires. Each truss is triangular in cross section. A layer of polyurethane foam is provided in the panel spaced from both the front side and the back side of the panel. On one surface of the foam is a layer of solidified viscous material, such as asphalt or a thermoplastic. The cross wires on opposite sides of the panel are offset from each other along the axes of the truss runner wires to which they are welded.
