A system for processing electronic information includes a decorative assembly that includes (i) a cap piece having a stud, includes an embedded NFC chip, ornaments around its periphery, and a scannable code located at a center of the cap piece, and (ii) a socket base with a female socket in its center configured to receive the stud and located in an upper section of the socket base, where a bottom section of the socket base includes a PIN that is covered by an opaque peel off sticker. The system also includes a wearable element that is affixed to the decorative assembly, a backend system for processing activation of the decorative assembly or for processing payments by a user of the decorative assembly; and an interface between the decorative assembly and the backend system.

A method of installing a decompression panel assembly in an aircraft. The decompression panel assembly includes a body portion, a baffle member, and a panel member. The method includes coupling the body portion to the panel member, wherein the body portion includes a plurality of frame members defining a plurality of openings in the body portion. The method also includes coupling the baffle member to the plurality of frame members such that the baffle member removably obstructs at least one opening of the plurality of openings. The baffle member is integrally formed with the plurality of frame members and is configured for at least partial displacement from the at least one opening during a decompression event. The decompression panel assembly is then coupled between a sidewall and a floor panel of the aircraft.

Decompression panel assembly and methods of installation

A decompression panel assembly for use in an aircraft includes a body portion comprising a plurality of frame members defining a plurality of openings in the body portion. The decompression panel assembly also includes a baffle member integrally formed with the plurality of frame members such that the baffle member removably obstructs at least one opening of the plurality of openings. The baffle member is configured for at least partial displacement from the at least one opening during a decompression event.

Decompression panel assembly and methods of manufacturing the same

Test systems for simulating an environment for erosion testing. An exemplary system includes a wind tunnel having a fan unit at one end and an exhaust unit at the other, and a test fixture that secures a specimen under test in a path of the air flow created in the wind tunnel. The system also includes a water injection unit installed between the fan unit and the test fixture that emits water droplets into the air flow. A controller of the system identifies a test profile indicating conditions for a test of the specimen, and varies the speed of the air flow, the orientation of the specimen, and/or a flow rate of water out of a nozzle of the water injection unit during the test to simulate the conditions indicated in the test profile.

Wind tunnel for erosion testing

A device for adjustably and removably mounting accessory equipment to tow hooks of a vehicle without alteration to the bumper or surrounding fascia components. The device includes two angle brackets a mounting flange and a clamping plate. Each bracket has holes that align with the other bracket and with the mounting flange which attaches to accessory equipment. The assembly of the brackets and clamping plate surround the tow hook, which the mounting flange attaches to the accessory equipment. One possible piece of accessory equipment is a bumper guard, which can provide protection from debris damaging the vehicle oil cooler. Detachable brush bars provide further protection from brush harming the sides of the moving vehicle.
