Example embodiments relate to selecting proxies. In this manner, the embodiments disclosed herein enable determination of a device to which to send communication through a firewall and determination of a set of proxies available to communicate with the device through the firewall. A set of success labels are determined for the set of proxies, wherein a success label for an individual proxy comprises information related to communicating with the device via the individual proxy. Based on a first success label determined for the first proxy, a first proxy may be selected to communicate with the determined device.

Examples disclosed herein relate to unwrap a message received from a remote management service in a first device and to provide the message to a second device. Examples include a first message received in a first device from a remote management service through a firewall, which is unwrapped into a second message. The second message is provided to its destination. In examples, the second message is received in the first device and unwrapped into a third message. The third message is provided to a second device.

An example device in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure includes a non-linear compensator, an interpolator, a demultiplexer, and a demodulator. The non-linear compensator is to correct a non-linearity of the input bitstream data to obtain linearized bitstream data. The interpolator is to convert a non-constant sample rate of the linearized bitstream data to obtain constant sample rate bitstream data. The demultiplexer is to demultiplex the constant sample rate bitstream data into a first waveform and a second waveform. The demodulator is to demodulate the first waveform and the second waveform.

Recovering independent waveforms from input bitstream data

A system includes a photodetector, a first amplifier, a second amplifier, and a filter. The photodetector is to detect backscattered light from liquid drops to provide a current signal. The first amplifier is to convert the current signal into a first voltage signal. The second amplifier is to amplify the first voltage signal to provide a second voltage signal, and the filter is to filter the second voltage signal to provide an output signal to indicate the presence or absence of liquid drops.

A method for low noise signal amplification includes modifying a signal by way of a first amplification stage and conveying the modified signal to a second amplification stage. The method continues with comparing an output of the second amplification stage with a signal ground in a low-frequency feedback loop and changing a bias voltage for the first amplification stage as a result of the comparing step.

Methods, devices, and systems implementing AC mains circuit parameter characterization are provided. One example embodiment of an image forming device includes a variable electrical load, and a controller adapted to vary the electrical load based on a characterization of AC mains circuit parameters including source voltage and line impedance wherein line impedance is determined for a change in source voltage.

Circuitry and methods are provided. Voltage and current of an electrical load are detected, scaled and biased to derive respective voltage and current signals. Frequency-modulated signals corresponding to the voltage and current signals are respectively derived. The frequency-modulated signals are communicated between different electrical domains by way of optical isolation barriers. The frequency-modulated signals are processed to improve linearity and to time-correlate the signals to discrete samplings of the load voltage and current. Control of a printer or other device is performed using the processed signals.

Circuitry and methods are provided. Voltage and current of an electrical load are scaled, biased and alternately sampled to derive a multiplexed signal. The multiplexed signal is used to control an oscillator so as to provide a multiplexed frequency-modulated signal. The multiplexed frequency-modulated signal is processed to improve linearity and to time-correlate signal content with discrete samplings of the load voltage and current. Control of a printer or other device is performed using the processed signal.

Embodiments of determining power to be supplied to a load are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes determining an amount of power to supply to a load included in a first system having a plurality of loads, using a relationship between a change in the voltage provided by a power source to the first system caused due to a current drawn by one or more other systems coupled to the power source and a corresponding change in current supplied by the power source to the first system monitored over a predetermined time interval, to reduce a magnitude of the change in the voltage resulting from the power source, and causing the determined amount of the power to be supplied to the load.

A system includes a load, one or more switches, and a controller. The switches are to switch power received from a power source to power the load. The controller is to control switching of the switches to deliver the power to the load to reduce perceptible flickering of one or more lights coupled to the power source.
