An apparatus is provided, which includes a plurality of elongated strands having joinder regions uniting adjacent strands at a distance along a length of an outer perimeter of the elongated strands, the elongate strands being configured to couple together for a distance along their lengths. The elongated strands form a surface of a mesh when the joinder regions are coupled. The apparatus may further include a manducable protrusion coupled to the mesh and extending a distance away from an exterior surface of the mesh.

A family of toy cars includes a plurality of components, which cooperatively translate a motive force applied to a finger engagement structure into motion of the toy car in a horizontal plane. The toy car system includes a chassis, a body, a finger engagement structure, a pair of front wheels rotatably coupled to the chassis, and a pair of rear wheels rotatably coupled to the chassis. Each of the front pair of wheels may be coupled to the front suspension by a castered coupling. The toy car may include a steering linkage between the front wheels configured such that the front wheels turn in unison in response to the motive force applied to the toy car.

A family of toy cars includes a plurality of external body components, which may be removably assembled into a street car, track car or dirt car by children or adult user. The toy car system includes a chassis with fastener receiving holes and each of the body components include a pair of spaced apart attachment holes, such that the corresponding holes of the body components line with each other and with the fastener receiving holes of the chassis when the body components are positioned in an overlapped configuration. The front and rear pair of wheels are attached to the chassis by corresponding wheel fasteners, wherein all the fasteners in the toy car system have the same size and shape and are easily detachable.

A roller toy apparatus is provided. The roller toy apparatus may include a handle including a grasping portion, an elongate portion and a ball coupling portion, the ball coupling portion including a pair of left and right extensions, each of the left and right extensions including a respective mount extending inwardly into an interior region of the ball coupling portion. The roller toy apparatus may further include a ball rotatably coupled to the ball coupling portion. The ball may be formed of a mesh having a plurality of loop structures, each loop structure surrounding a void, and where each of a pair of loop structures is rotatably coupled to a respective mount of the ball coupling portion, to thereby rotatably couple the ball to the handle.

A toy apparatus having a surface is provided. The toy apparatus may include a mesh including a plurality of loop structures having cooperative mating surfaces disposed at least partially around an outer perimeter of each loop structure. The plurality of loop structures may have curved inside perimeter surfaces, and the cooperative mating surfaces of adjacent loop structures may be configured to couple together for a distance along their lengths. The loop structures form the surface of the toy when the cooperative mating surfaces are coupled with each other. The toy apparatus may further include a rattle positioned in a loop structure in the mesh, the rattle having a body with a mounting structure having an outer perimeter sized to conform to the curved inside perimeter surface of the loop structure in which the rattle is mounted.

A submersible projectile includes an elongate body. The elongate body has an axial forward end and an axial rearward end and a peripheral surface. The elongate body has a generally elliptical cross-section along substantially all of the axial length of the elongate body. A plurality of fins project from the elongate body near the axial rearward end of the body wherein the fins are spaced about the peripheral surface.

A flying toy apparatus is provided. The flying toy apparatus typically includes a body having an elongate channel formed therein, the channel extending in a longitudinal direction along the body. The flying toy apparatus also typically includes an elastic launch member coupled to the body and configured to be stretched forward in the longitudinal direction by a digit of a user. The channel is typically configured to accommodate passage of the digit therein during launch of the body over the digit. A foam nose member may be coupled to a leading portion of the body to soften impact and/or guide the digit into the channel. A grip may be provided on the body for the user to securely hold the apparatus during launch. Fins may also be provided on the body.
