Systems, methods, and computer program products can provide visual guidance on presenting content on a media surface of a venue. These systems, methods, and computer program products can operate by mapping visual content onto a media surface of the venue and a key feature unique to the visual content and/or the media surface being extracted. Thereafter, these systems, methods, and computer program products can retrieve an experiment metric corresponding to the visual content and/or the media surface and can determine a viewer location metric and/or a media surface metric based on the experiment metric and the key feature. These systems, methods, and computer program products can utilize the viewer location metric and/or the media surface metric to provide a hint of the attribute to a user.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for generating a Virtual Reality (VR) simulation. By combining physical and simulated data from a physical, virtual mobile device and virtual environment and rendering that within a VR simulation, the system can give the developer a more hands-on accurate representation and feel for how their mobile app can work at a real-world environment. This VR simulation assists a developer to cut down on iteration and travel time when developing, debugging, and testing their mobile apps/games for real-world environments, location-based entertainment (LBE) venues including indoor or outdoor installations.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for mobile device tracking system within a VR simulation. The method includes determining a position and orientation of a mobile device tracking module (e.g., case) attached to a mobile device, calculating a position and orientation of the of the mobile device based at least partially on a position and orientation of a tracking module, simulating a real world environment, generating a virtual visualization of the mobile device and rendering a VR simulation based at least partially on the position and orientation of the display screen of the mobile device. The position and orientation of the display screen provides a virtual position and orientation of the display screen relative to a virtual origin within the VR simulation.

Described herein are embodiments for providing visual guidance on presenting visual content on a media surface of a venue. The visual content can be mapped onto a media surface of the venue and a key feature unique to the visual content and/or the media surface being extracted. An experiment metric corresponding to the visual content and the media surface can be retrieved, a viewer location metric and a media surface metric based on the experiment metric and the key feature can be determined. The viewer location metric and the media surface metric correspond to the attribute, which is utilized to provide a viewer location heat map of the attribute to a user.
