A welding assembly for welding a plurality of workpieces includes a positioner assembly including a base assembly and a workpiece holding assembly that is mounted to the base assembly. The workpiece holding assembly includes a beam having a longitudinal axis and a plurality of holding elements that are each mounted to the beam and adapted for holding and positioning a workpiece for welding. The beam is rotatable about a primary axis that is substantially horizontal. The plurality of holding elements are each rotatable about an auxiliary axis that is transverse to the longitudinal axis of the beam.

A welding workbench assembly comprises a base. The welding workbench assembly further comprises a first wraparound barrier comprising at least three panels, including a first panel, a second panel, and a third panel. The second panel is adjacent to the first panel at a first end of the first panel and the third panel is adjacent to the first panel at a second end of the first panel. The welding workbench assembly further comprises a second wraparound barrier comprising at least three panels, including a fourth panel, a fifth panel, and a sixth panel. The fifth panel is adjacent to the fourth panel at a first end of the fourth panel and the sixth panel is adjacent to the fourth panel at a second end of the fourth panel.

An accessible work cell is provided. In one embodiment, the accessible work cell a plurality of walls defining at least one work zone and at least one pair of sliding doors that provides access to the work zone. The pair of sliding doors includes an upper sliding door and a lower sliding door. The first upper sliding door is operatively connected to the lower sliding door such that movement of the upper sliding door in a first direction will cause the lower sliding door to move in a second direction opposite to the first direction.

Accessible work cell

A welding fixture holds a first workpiece and a second workpiece in a plurality of configurations. The welding fixture includes a fixture base plate, a first toggle clamp configured to apply a clamping force substantially perpendicular to the fixture base plate, a second toggle clamp configured to apply a clamping force substantially parallel to the fixture base plate, and a workpiece support plate. The plurality of configurations for the first workpiece and the second workpiece include at least a horizontal lap configuration in which the first workpiece and the second workpiece are oriented substantially parallel to each other and to the fixture base plate, a vertical lap configuration in which the first workpiece and the second workpiece are oriented substantially parallel to each other and substantially perpendicular to the fixture base plate, and a T configuration in which the first workpiece is oriented substantially perpendicular to the second workpiece.

Welding workbench assembly with wraparound dual stage barriers

A robot cell comprises a support having a top surface within a plane and configured to rotate about a central axis substantially normal to the plane and a plurality of welding tables including a first welding table and a second welding table. The first welding table is operably connected to the support and configured to rotate about a first axis substantially parallel to the plane and about a second axis substantially normal to the plane. The first welding table is configured such that the second axis remains substantially normal to the plane while the first welding table rotates about the first axis. The second welding table is operably connected to the support and configured to rotate about a third axis substantially parallel to the plane and about a fourth axis substantially normal to the plane. The second welding table is configured such that the fourth axis remains substantially' normal to the plane while the second welding table rotates about the third axis.

Robot cell

An embodiment of a multiple axis positioner comprises a main headstock that has a main hollow bore. A main indexing table is attached to the main headstock. The main indexing table has a through-hole near the its center. The through-hole aligns or is substantially coaxial with the main hollow bore of the main headstock. The embodiment of the multiple axis positioner further includes at least three minor headstocks mounted to the main indexing table. The at least three minor headstocks have minor hollow bores.

A robotic welding cell includes a frame, a robot arm connected to the frame, a welding gun affixed to the robot arm, a welding table connected to the welding frame, and means to move the welding table in or about at least two mutually perpendicular axes. A welding table assembly for use in a robot welding cell is also disclosed.

Welding cell

An electric arc engine welder housing has an opening defined by the housing and a door connected to the housing. The door has a first panel and a second panel. The second panel has a pair of members extending from opposite ends of the second panel. The members are selectively received by slots formed on opposite walls of the opening. The members slide along the slots during movement of the second panel. The housing has mounting brackets each of which has a first leg and a second leg, each having an opening therethrough. The legs are substantially perpendicular to one another. The first leg is mounted to a side wall of the cabinet, and the second leg is mounted to a support surface for the cabinet. Fastening members secure the legs to the cabinet side wall and the support surface.

Engine welder cabinet

A cabinet for an engine welder including an output power module driven by a DC input signal from a rectifier having an AC input signal created by an alternator rotated by an internal combustion engine. The cabinet has a front panel with a pivotally mounted door with an open and closed position. The door is used to expose a large accessible compartment. This compartment contains major components of the welder, such as the rectifier, the power source module, the control module of the engine and a support structure for the capacitors and diodes used to control the alternator.
